I was hoping that they Shen Family would contact Song Yunxiang, but I guess it makes sense they didn't want to be rude to him and interrupt him during the Banquet, but it's nice that there was a screen for them to see Yunxiang. It confirms to the Shen Elders that there is a connection. They also get to see their relative in the main hall too. The screen was a nice touch. It also allows the Main Hall to view outside. I'm hoping for some really good content. We have just barely seen the top characters so far. We still have the Host Di Lan(Also Yunxiang Fiance, so I hope she hugs him and mentions that and everyone goes crazy, especially that B Xinxin), Longhai Kingdom Prince(Ao Bing Host Lan Kun) and I'm hoping the King comes too. Then we have the Host Gongsung Zhiyi of the Royal Family of Milun, Lu Bu's host San(and I would think her master to thank Yunxiang) from the Taiyung Organization, and probably a number of others that we don't know about, such as the Nangrong Bai Qi Host that is friends with 3rd Grandpa. I can't wait to see what comes next! The main hall is going to have to grow for all of these "Honorable Guests."

In the conversation it was mentioned that the superiors, logically from Tiandu, could not know that the Song family was in contact with Di Lan if that was the case. Mu said he would try to contact the girl, but only if Jingzhong allowed it.

I was really wanting Miao to call Yunxiang's Grandpa, Grandpa 😆! Yunxiang also introduced her `by her name and I was disappointed he didn't call her Senior Sister, but then he did it right after which was great. I also was expecting Miao to mention something about her father, since that's what she did to Uncle Song.` I'm also surprised that the meeting between Miao and 3rd Grandpa didn't have some sort of weird past.... Also Grandma had no issue either, so it's nice the 3 of them are on good terms.

I have to say, even though 4th Brother is a loner/outcast, he at least questioned who those 2 were, unlike his nrd buddies who are so inftuated with the fact that 2 grls would approach them.... It will be interesting to see how things go. Yunxiang already knows they are inside, so it makes me wonder why he hasn't done anything yet....` I can only assume if he made a move now/first, that he would disrupt the ceremony and he doesn't want that, so he will wait and see what happens.. The thing is.. Does he have control over everything within his barriers? Does he know where they are? It seems he can detect energy signatures, like he did with the Red Robed Inspector, so I guess he will know just based on their energy signature.

This Zhula from Milun is something else. She can actually detect the Stage Suppression device in another individual? Yunxiang needed to use the Star Master System in order to scan her, yet this Zhula can just detect it with her normal senses? That means she has very in-tuned senses. I think because she has always been in the "Hall of Reflection," which was in the isolated Mountain where the Ancestor Maid resided.. She must have gained some intuition or something from it. She also was able to instantly recognize the Ancestor's portrait, and connect it to the "Maid," even though her head(horns) were covered, and she was in a maid outfit.

Maybe Grandpa's father was the old Family Head? It's possible that either of the younger brothers could be teh family head. TEchnically as you said Yunxiang has full authority, but I don't see how being the head would change him having the same power as the head, regardless who takes over, since he has that power now with Grandpa. Even if Grandpa were to retire, he would still have more authority most likely, as I doubt they would mess with his decision, out of respect. Then there's 3rd Grandpa, who they don't know now, but will come to respect and follow his instructions also. Just as Grandpa follows everything that 3rd Grandpa does and says. Grandpa cares so much for his 3rd Uncle. It makes me wonder how much of that is based on him being the Holy Stage though.... I'm sure he loves him regardless of that though, but having the Holy Stager is extremely important for ANY family. We can see just by losing it, they were relegated to a border town, far away from Central.

Yeah, sadly there is so much to unpack in this Banquet. "Sadly" in the fact that it's taking up so many weeks to get through it, but once it's done it's going to be a Masterpiece. I was reading through another Banquet in a story like this and it was like 2 chapters and there was so much missed goodness that could have happened... Damn wtf was that buttkissing Grandpa Song.... I'm surprised 3rd Great-Grandpa didn't shut that nonsense down... Hilarious how the Bao guy was getting jealous and angry and wanted to start a war.... I'm not sure if his Ancestor and 3rd Grandpa know each other (by the sound of it, the Bao family and Song family are NOT on good terms). I would think that 3rd Grandpa would have other allies in the 8 Generals still, so that's foolish that the Bao guy thinks he can do anything.
