Talking about Stellaris... Sometimes, I can´t understand how the AI ponderates the relative empires army power. For example, on my last game one of the AI empires cames to war against me and the relative power (according to the game standars), was favorable to him (superior compare with me). But evry single fleet the AI sent against me was weaker than my own fleets, every time. Much more ships than me, but weaker fleet groups. So I felt like Reinhard on Astarte´s Space battle, when this theme sound for the first time on the series XD

If Star Wars left the Jedi vs. Sith fight and the Force as legendary ("Earth Cult"=Sith vs Jedi for example), and focused on battles and politics, it would be like this anime.

IMO this fits better than the classic ones. Don't get me wrong, the old musics were good, but they weren't made for the show and didn't fit in a space opera. I'm glad DNT gave the series a more distinct musical identity.

I disagree, The classical not only fit the original show much better, but in the OVA it was also selected and perfectly utilized thematically and placed with screenplay perfectly tailored acc to them. It gave OVA a timeless and unique feel in itself along with its aesthetics something DNT doesn't and won't have You could tell the people behind Esp Noboru Ishiguro and Producer Tahara really put in a lot of work with the soundtrack selection, infact anyone that knows about classical music wouldn't say it, comes off as ignorant if I am being honest. DNT is great tho fits the modern style, the tracks even borrow elements from classical music

The older series is freaking long. They ran it for over 10 years. New episodes each year. It did what other long running Anime failed to do: Live up to its promise Heck, replace the Japanese music with a bit of Star Wars, Star Trek, and Starship Troopers (even toss in ExoSquad music) and you can only increase the tempo. It's like Wing Commander, but with Ships! It's like Code Geass with actual coherent PLOT! Take those other Strategy Anime that came up and tanked because of the overuse of Super Elements and Ecchi and clean them up, give them plot, direction, and THIS is what you get! Anyone want to add to how awesome this series is?
