I try to go to Disneyland Paris at least once a year. I saw the premiere show in 2004, and then I visited the park again in 2006, 2007 and twice in 2008, and managed to see the show more times a day, hehe. I'm a Lion King nut. I haven't heard about castings yet, I can only hope with you it's true :) I've seen the Broadway show twice in London, I specially came from Belgium to see it. Hopefully will see it again at the end of this year.

Well, it's not that far of a drive to Disneyland, about 4 hours, and since last year I got myself an annual pass again, so it's all quite alright, hehe.

I doubt it'll be coming back. Tarzan comes back every summer, but Lion King hasn't been back ever since it stopped. Seen the show about 10 times there.
