The whole soundtrack to Crystal Chronicles is amazing, but, especially the opening song. The whole game's theming, from the music, to the characters, to the narration, it all screams Celtic inspiration. A huge shame it was all built on a lousy gimmick, and never received much attention as a result.

It is made more haunting by using a flute that isn't fully keyed. He's able to really bend many of the notes as a result, making a mournful sound.

One of the things that I like best about your arrangements is how they combine instruments not typically used together to create very deliberately unique instrumentations. It results in some really striking tone colors! For example that line the bawu plays which then gets echoed by the glock is just beautiful, I love that part.
