Also meant to say, I was really impressed with how you designed the demon, especially the color correction and shading you did on all the various elements to make them fit together. +Splitmind Gaming Thanks! I use the smudge tool to paint a mask that I then use to create adjustment layers, usually curves layers, so I can fine tune the lighting's color and intensity. I find the smudge tool creates a hand painted look when all you have is a mouse to work with. The curves layer on that mask is essentially the one-stop shop for lighting and shading. Sometimes saturation adjustment, but 95% of the time just curves.
