really well done. though at the beginning, i thought the first time the main theme played was going to just be a sort of preview melody that wouldn't play out the full theme and then wait until later to play the full theme. i think that might give a better effect.

The artwork of Ocarina is near perfect for the series and this game. It's equal might be all of Katsuya Terada's art for the first 4 games. And the games have come close to seizing that magic, but not quite. Link is shown in this game both as he always was, a young boy, and what he became, a young man on the verge of adulthood. He has heroic posture, build and determination. He seems both a knight allied with Hyrule and the gods, but also an humble outsider....a mystery born from the forest. Much is communicated in his design in all the promotionals, and what they attempted to depict in the game's engine. Even the 3DS remake fails to capture his unique build, stature, and disposition. Breath of the Wild had the capability to capture this, and at times, with the right gear and in the right scene, he gets there, but BOTW Link is too blank, too often dumbfounded and bumbling. Here, Link is not so much stern, but stoic and determined. He has a lean build, but muscle is there, and he carries himself wide and rooted. Even Young Link's art conveys this. He is wide-eyed and optimistic. I don't begrudge comedy in Zelda, but, the odd bumbling can be a bit overplayed. The desire for the player to relate to Link is already a rule that's broken everytime a scene shows Link determined or angry. Twilight Princess and Skyward Sword had a good mix of small moments.

I was pissed when I waited two days while watching E3 on G4 and EVERYTHING was about FPS and other very...American games and Zelda Skyward Sword got like 1:30 worth of the show. BOOTH BABES GOT A LONGER BIT. You know it's serious when a straight man gets pissed off by seeing too many girls in tight clothing when he is supposed to be seeing the next generation of a game series.

@NemmyLadyZombie also the need for better graphics... i think one or two games like the oldschool baldurs gate, planescape torment or something like that would be great.... they had it all. great story, a lot of sidequest, many directions of character development before and in the game..... but all that matters is just a good graphic )= (also id like to play dragonage origins and risen because they come actually close to the rpg jewels of black isle and gothic 1 and 2)
