To answer your question Dan, I used this team ABB style as Dewgong would pull out almost all the counter to Golisopod (Rock/Electric). So unless it was a hard win I would try to preserve my Quagsire.

This team you ran is moist 😮

This was a fun one! and part of what makes it fun is watching you respond to how other people play. When you analyze submissions, you do a great job of explaining alternate plays to best utilize a team. e.g. 18:23, "Don't shield the lantern! Go two shields with whatever is in the back!" These alternate plays help me better understand how to use a team. The change in perspective from how you play to seeing how others play draws out your insights you might not have otherwise mentioned. I can imagine a world where while you focus on hitting legend you make content by analyzing submission videos. I'm thinking here of a comment you made along the lines of, "I make a team, try it out, and if it works, I make a video, and then change teams again." If hitting legend is important to you, you could try out new Pokémon before ELO. Then, focus on one team to hit legend quickly without revealing your strategy. After reaching legend, you can explore new team combinations for the rest of the season for new content. Food for thought based on what I've heard you say! However, do whatever you want with the channel, I'm going to keep watching ;)

"Keeping the shields for next season is cool." If i heard that right, thats a hilarious line! 😂

Nope, nothing wrong with a format where only one type is represented. hehe. That reminds me, I've got a shiny golisopod and dewgong with decent pvp ivs I need to build.

Sup Dan, thanks again for the videos. Always enjoy watching them till the end. I’m in the same boat - at 2836 and trying to climb to legend. I may use this triple water team as I’m pretty comfortable with all 3 already. Good luck on your climb!

The opponent in the last match should have won. They got their fast move denied when they brought in the Charja which wouldve given them enough energy to sweep

I know I’m really harsh and critical of the algorithm, but if I were to be completely honest with myself now that I’ve mastered counting and catching I think my next goal would be calculating damage output, undercharges etc.. At least these skills will create me an an easier time battling the Algo

How important are stats to be exact? Does it matter if you have 0/8/13 compared to 0/15/14?

Hi very new to pvp just wanted to ask if it would be good idea to invest stardust into pokemon based on this season or if seasons metas change and it would be better to focus on building up a bank of stardust to use later?
@DanOttawaPOGO6 ай бұрын
You can basically invest in this season's meta pokemon. Even those getting nerfed like lanturn and whiscash will still be strong

300 elo in 3 days is tough, but I’ve been able to climb almost 500 since Saturday running the classic basti, wiggly, shadow vic. Stupid game cost me 500 elo, so I did whatever it took to get it back.
