元々は、70年代に作られたアマチュアによる自主製作映画だったかと…。その１ｓｔバージョンでは、狼男は痩身、ボロボロのシャツ、ズボン姿で、もっとスピーディにゴジラと闘っていたのです。当時の夏休みのワイドショーや、宇宙船創刊号等で紹介されていたのです。が…狼男のシーンのみ、80年代にリテイクされた（「ハウリング」の影響がありますね。ヒロインの髪型、眉毛が聖子ちゃんCUT…）ものの様です…。で…日本特撮史的に重要なのは、この次の世代の河崎実、庵野秀明等々、本作の１ｓｔバージョンがあったからこそ、アマチュアでもこんなの撮れるんだ！…と、次々とトライが始まった事かと！

With all the footage of this movie that been released do you think there's a way anybody can stitch them together into a full coherent film or is that all on Nakajima?

I believe that is still on Nakajima, he still has 10 hours of footage. Though it is still up to Toho if they want to release it on DVD or not. You could always ask Nakajima himself on Facebook to see if there's any updates.

I feel like it should've been King Kong vs The Wolfman. Because with the damsel in distress scene twice. Kong comes for the rescue and fights and defeats Wolfman
