I've always wondered how the water part worked. On the one hand, there are probably many, many more holes in the car floor, vents, etc. that would have let the water out more quickly. On the other, this would most definitely kill the electronics - sure, these old cars were more mechanical, but they still had e.g. electronic ignition that was wired into the cabin and would have shorted.

My sister and I used to have to go to church every week with a very strange little old lady when we were kids and she had one of those green Triumphs!
