Hope we get a good game for Al, sucks when he gets a bad game and has to carry his partner thru NFL commentary + the TNF broadcast is just lifeless in general so that doesnt help. SNF with him and CC was a vibe of its own

I was just thinking last week about how all these announcers just scream into the mic to try to keep our attention. It's extremely annoying and unnecessary. They say nothing noteworthy but they scream it to make it seem interesting.

*I don't want screaming all game long.* The children that want non-stop yelling aren't the ones buying merchandise, tickets, or NFL TV passes. It's only the kids and Karens that need the TV yelling at them at every play otherwise they forget to look up from their phones... Infomercials yell. Commercials yell. Uptight Karens doing morning shows yell. It's as if the social influencer children can't and won't pay attention until somebody is yelling.

ESPN has been going down for years, hardly watchable today. Employees with no talent, trying to be nice here, hosting shows. Just garbage, sad because I used to watch at least 10 hurs a week normally and 3 times that during football season. Now I turn it on and have to change the channel. Never been a fan of Michaels either, the Howard Cosell of today.

He's calling a game, not a rock concert. If you need the announcers to get you excited you should probably go retire and do something else yourself. You could put your resume in and try to do it how you think it should be done. Just sit down and shut up and appreciate and respect the legend or watch something else.
