I can vouch for Scipio paired with Tariq. The trades were outstanding. In fact probably one of the best underrated pairings. So for everyone out there that has got both of them but doesn't have liu che or any other meta pairings, definitely use that. Great video mate

For the 3 infantry march, I might have william sargon/gorgo, then LC/Alex and GuanYu with Skippy. I like the idea of giving out shields to other marches, and with this configuration, there’s higher chance to do so. Mighty shields and normal shields even stack,

Guan / Scip or Scip / Tariq are the two best options for your set up. I personally would choose guan simply for his silence.

Yes, I was using William the 1st (Cav) as a placeholder for William Wallace (the new infantry) since he isn’t in game yet and we don’t have access to his character icon.

LC/Alex and Scipio/Sargon are your best bet right now. You could also bring Guan into the picture and run Guan/Sargon and then use Scipio/Mehmed

Most ROK players don’t even consider MGE commanders because they are hard to obtain and typically aren’t nearly as good in the open field as Wheel commanders - however if this one is, I’ll gladly make another video.

Great for rallying but I don’t think he’s necessarily going to be in your top 2 infantry march set up. MAYBE top 3 if that. I’d rather have Tariq for open field tbh

I guess the big problem of inf pairings is the the absence of good secondary Commander. Scipio P is a first Commander, Guan is a first Commander Sargon is a first Commander Alex is a first Commander. Sure you can use them also as second but then you loose the value. Scipio P reduces the enemy health by 30%, why you use him behind Guan? Thats why ppl go with Scipio P/Tariq. Lillith gave us Sargon, with him you can turn at least some Commander into secondary's like Scipio and Alex but we all know, with this mechanic the dmg output on open field is a bit tricky with Sargon.

For me the best 5 commanders in the game are: 1. Liu Che 2. Zhuge Liang, he's very very close to liu che honestly 3. Hermann prime, he basically has everything but imo not quite liu or zhuge lvl 4. Joan prime, a lot of dmg + speed 5. I think that Scipio as a commander itself is actually better than William, but I think William has better synergy with Liu Che, but I'm still going to say Scipio

Maybe you should refer William Wallace as "Wallace", so you don't confuse ppl with William I The Conqueror. There will be confusion between Scipio as well because another Scipio join the ranks :)

Until I see the testing for Wallace my plan is to skip him. I have 4 out of 6 of your top choices already experticed. I will reconsider if Wallace is proved to be insane, like nearly as good as LC. Ty for the video. 😊

I don't know who these players are who can afford to change up the number of marches from particular troop types in their lineup depending on how good particular commanders are. "A year ago, it was best to use two cavalry marches - now, we use two infantry marches instead." Bro, with all the gear required to run a strong march - we decide a year in advance how many gear sets of particular troop types we are going to craft, and then we blame Lilith for not providing us with the commanders that fit that decision. There is no way for a cavalry or an archer main to suddenly switch and run two infantry marches, if they have only one infantry gear set.

Agree with all but not with Sargon, hes slow, no aoe and his active skill is unuseable in murderball fights - In no world would I say Sargon is better than Guan, except if you are playing in a D-Seed maaybe

From mere kills he’s good, that’s why people like him. I personally don’t use him and highly regret my smallish investment in him, but I also recognize most people care about stats more than murderball efficiency
