I was born in 1950 so I got it all. All of these ladies and more. Beatles, Dave Clark Five, Monkees, Elvis, Crystals, Chiffons, Shangri Las, and on and on. They could have left me out of Vietnam, but that was also part of it. 71 now and it is so great to see all these ladies together. Hell, most people didn't even start locking their doors until the late sixties. I'd love to go through it all again. Thanks for posting.

Seeing Lesley Gore and Brenda Lee (my two favorite female 60s singers) sing together was one of the coolest things I've ever seen!!! I love them so much! Too bad I couldn't grow up when their music was on the charts.
@doninmichigan3 жыл бұрын
I did, and am so grateful to grow up when I did, but at least their music is preserved for all now on You Tube!
@kylejasper47673 жыл бұрын
@@doninmichigan I couldn't agree more! And what a time it must've been back then! You were truly blessed! I do like a good bit of the music now, but it pales in comparison to the music of the 60s. Hands down.

To see these ladies perform their own songs was such a treat - thanks for posting these! The whole show is terrific! In one of these videos you'll see Carly Simon in the audience. @SRR0820Ай бұрын
Appreciated seeing them all, especially Shirley. I adore the Shangs, Ronettes, Crystals (irony of them closing with their song when none of them were there 🙄) and like Martha but I will stand by it til my dying day, The Shirelles were the best girl (& most prolific) girl group of all time. Would have also loved to see Mary Weiss, The Chiffons, The Angels, The Cookies, The Dixie Cups etc repped. Since it’s “Rock N Roll” Connie Francis and possibly even Linda should’ve been there. Both would have more fitting to host than Grace Slick and that Go Go girl, they’re not the rights eras
