Kenny, Thank you so much for your videos! I grew up in the 70's and my dad raced dirt cars in southwestern PA when I was a kid. I've followed dirt racing my entire life. Larry Shaw is a hero to me as a builder and I always thought he was a mechanical engineer by trade because of the physics/mechanics in his chassis? Scott Bloomquist was the greatest dirt driver of all time to me and I appreciate your videos of his accomplishments and our memory of him.

Always a pleasure working with the Shaw’s. I drove a 2004 Shaw Modified owned by John Evenson and Joe Bean here in Minnesota. We won the 2005 Wissota 100 at Cedar lake with that car. 80+ entries that year. Correct me if I am wrong, but I think it was the first Shaw Mod to win a Wissota 100. Was a bad fast car. Was also at the Altell race with that car. We were fast but couldn’t stay out of trouble.

America was so much cooler when our American Oligarchs spent their money on racing instead of politics like they do today...imo It was great to hear from the legend Larry Shaw! I got to spend the weekend at CJ Rayburn's racing compound shop/home when Moyer was winning all the races in a Rayburn chassis.

I think when Wayne Brooks was running the UFO car in the early 2000's is what sold a bunch of Shaw modifieds. Wayne won all the big money shows. Surprised he didn't touch on that.

Hey Wallace can you do a video explaining A-Mod, B-Mod, UMP-Mod, I went in the pits and asked Mod drivers and they didn't know they only knew the rules for there track and they had to have a all-steel motor or 604, l was thinking of getting into a IMCA Mod butt seems messed up, that track was Wilmont Wisconsin, Plymouth WI said build any motor just a two barrel carb, 141 speedway (l wish lrace would copy ) they run a 602 IMCA and 604, nice track butt they have huge tracker tires sticking way out on the track and l feel that's dangerous and ruins the guys equipment that put on their show. Anways Wallace help, love saying Wallace. Milwaukee. WALLACE

I have to laugh when Larry said they had 88 inches of snow..I grew up in Wisconsin and we had a rough winter..I remember walking to the bank and I see all these sticks pointing up out of the snowbank then I realized they were the tops of young trees 15 feet high I was walking on .
