Thanks a lot to all the nice comments! I'm simply overwhelmed by all your reactions :D I did have a lot of fun building this park and I'm still so happy about the result. But it also was a tough grind to get it all done in time and I'm so glad it's over (that day, when Steam showed me I currently had PlanCo running for over 1000 minutes...). As so many here, I would have loooved to see a coaster in this park as well. I started to build something like a scrapyard-/spaceship-retailer where guests are offered test rides in a crappy spaceship (winged coaster), malfunctions guaranteed (it had a really nice "whirling in weightlessness" moment). As most of the space on the Asteroid was already filled up, I wanted it to hang upside down beneath it. But luckily my gf helped me to plan my work realistically which is why I had time enough to polish the dark ride to the max (absolutely worth it). So, largest shout-out to her and my dog for keeping me sane while devoting my whole summer vacation to this project :D

Calling it right now: this creation wins King Coaster. Best park in the contest. I'm not even a huge fan of Sci-Fi, but I don't see how it can get better than this. What this did with this is just so unbelievably masterful that there's no way it doesn't win. Once again we have people just pushing the limits of what this game can accomplish. Not only did he have to build all this in the time limit, but with all of those screens in the dark ride, he also had to build THOSE scenes, film them, edit them, and have them make sense in the ride. Not to mention, he had to build the rest of the park. The only way that this loses the contest is if somebody made a real-life park in 2 months and submitted it. Even then, I'd have to think about my choice. Hands down, you get my vote. I have loved so many parks in this bracket that it's going to be hard to choose who to NOT vote for, but one thing is for sure: Le Olleaux has my vote.

How well have you built the park that took the breath and speech away of many people here! I loved the attention to detail. You are a attentive to details on different level. Um... 11 out of 10 acorns... I mean, That dark ride is the best I've seen in four years. The designs throughout the park are incredible. This park pushes the game engine to its limits and perhaps even beyond them. The flat rides - amazing. The Hotel and Shops... amazing. But yes, Johnny, I'm with you - I'd love to see what he'd do with a coaster. :)

Holy Cosmic Cow... this is absolutely incredible. Man... after I finished my Action Coaster I've being working on a space park using the 32m screens with a custom image for a custom starry sky box, but it only used one image. This used 7000 images to create a galaxy?!!! Dude... That's insane... Gonna make my current park (which I plan on submitting as a spotlight far into the future) seem so inferior. This park is incredible. I'm absolutely flabbergasted. It also speaks to me personally, as I've been working on a sci-fi Park since July, and it also has a custom skybox. Kinda sad though that I'm not going to be the first park with a custom skybox. But wow I'm so impressed. But this is hands-down one of the best Parks I've ever seen and definitely the best part of the entire contest. Also, as somebody studying visual Neuroscience, particularly perception and imagery, that is exactly how a simulated experience would probably look. Though we will probably would not call it neurogenesis, it probably would be neuroregenesis

The pixelated light on the facade of neuro-genesis is a stain on this Mona Lisa! Was there really no option to avoid it? It's one of those parks that I can not run well on my PC, and I usually give huge minus points for that. But here, I just can't. It's too good!

@@le_olleaux733 Even though you're quite awesome, Olleaux, you'd be even awesomer in my eyes if you gave a thought to people who do not own crazy PCs. Sure, there is the youtube channel, but I am quite bummed that it's impossible for me to enjoy such creations on my own. Optimizing and thinking about performance is probably the extra layer that would make your creations absolutely perfect.

@@AnAngelineer Did you download my park and check it out yourself? The part count is still comparably low to many other creations we've seen on the show and the screens with static images shouldn't drown the performance too much either. (In the video they had close to 60 fps and so did I during building it). As for the movies I think they're alright, too. I tried to reduce their resolution and quality as much as possible to not have people download giant files (overall it's some 70 MB). Regarding the lights, it's hard to avoid this pixelation if I don't see it on my end. I mean, I won't install PlanCo on a weaker PC just to ensure I didn't place to many lights :D But sure I can keep that in mind for future submissions. I also have a hypothesis that the pixelation is less extreme, if you have Depth of Field activated, because that's my default setting. But I need to confirm that.
