Hey, minkyman, I had the same problem where pokemon from other already explored routes kept showing up. If you talk to the Help Man in Viridian City Pokemon center, go to the randomizer setting and switch the random pokemon from global to area. That way, every area has a randomized pokemon rather than just 2 new ones. Then simply re-randomize the areas and the trainers in the same place to apply the settings. Hopefully this helps you find your dratini!

The fusions have "weighted avarage (stats) with a bias towards the body Pokémon for physical stats (Atk, Def, Spd) and a bias towards the head Pokémon for special stats (HP, Sp.Atk, Sp.Def)" according to the wiki. That means that sadly the Growlakazam would work better with the other fusion to have the growlithe body (that fusion has more stats overall), ignoring how sick the hot spoons guy looks

You're looking at it the wrong way, even though #65.59 (body of Arcanine, head of Alakazam) has +26 more total stats, 20 of them are in Attack, which you'll not be looking to use with a pokémon like that, as both your best STAB moves, Flamethrower/Fire Blast and Psychic are special attacks. (Unless you want to use Overheat (tbf could actually be decent with Extreme Speed)) Therefore, the only differences that matter are in HP, DEF, SPATK, SPDEF and Speed. #59.65 (body of Alakazam, head of Arcanine) gains 12 HP and 8 Speed at the cost of 12 SPATK and 12 DEF (Which, if you want to keep your ATK, your Defense will get reduced by your Nature). Now whether you prefer to hit slower but harder and being able to withstand physical attacks almost negligibly better or just make sure you're always striking first and playing to your strengths (Good SpecialATK, decent SPDEF and high Speed), everybody ultimately has to decide for themselves.

@@Element_Doom Yep, I do think its better to have a little more defense and the possibility to use physical attacks with more power. I didn't do the math on the final stats of each fusion but assumed it would have a lot more phys.Atk and defense in exchange of HP considering each part has predominant stats. The sprite looks sick with Alakazam's body though, thats enough for me to keep it even if it doesn't allow to use a more effective Flame Blitz, elemental punches or Zen Headbutt in some situations.

I get that everyone has their favourites, but what makes this fangame in particular pretty cool is that you can take 2 pokemon that you might not like by themselves and then fuse them and discover that their designs work better when mashed together. There are a lot of really interesting custom sprites to see. Even if you don't end up using them all for fights. Still, I suppose that playstyle makes the game take longer so you might risk people's interest falling off... Maybe once you clear the elite 4 (if the series sticks around that long) you could do an extra episode or two of just catching and fusing mons that you think would be interesting combinations.
