I like how many of these are real animals (and a few are lake monsters rather than sea monsters) The legend of The Bloop came from a recording of a sound that was at first speculated to have originated from a marine mammal because it sounded very similar to the sounds of whale calls, however, in order for a marine mammal to produce that sound it'd have had to have been at least 6 times the size of a blue whale but that theory was officially replaced with the present day explanation of the sound having originated from a glacier scraping against the seafloor (keep in mind water distorts sound so is it REALLY that far fetched of an explanation?)
