You actually indeed can use the Dual Sense PS5 controller with this converter. It works wirelessly, you just need to pair to the Wingman the same way as the other controller by pressing and holding the PS button and the share button for a couple sec.

For anyone else who had issues with this working like me. Make sure you turn on " Pro Controller Wired Communication " in the Switch settings. Seems like no body else runs into this issue and there is nothing in the Wingman NS Documentation that says this so hey thought I'd post it here.
