Material is : PVC pipe Schedule 40, also known as Pressure Pipe: 60mm diameter, 3.5mm wall thickness. T-piece has 5mm wall thickness. Avoid buying weaker DWV (drainage waste vent) pipe which has a wall thickness of 1-2mm. Note if pipe is stated as 50mm or 2inch, this refers to the nominal diameter (like its minimal internal flow), not the outside. My fitting were 2inch schedule 40 pieces, but took a 60mm diameter pipe.
Much cheaper online, I recommend getting the fittings (T-pieces, elbows etc) from www.pipeonline.com.au (in Australia). It was about $95 delivered from Perth to Melbourne. Buy pipe length local as this is normally cheap

just got a quote for 65mm pressure pipe and enough fittings to build a cockpit no where near as elaborate as this.. just a dash mount for wheel above a basic frame to the pedals. about 4m of pipe plus 12x T joins, 6x each 90° and 45° elbows.. WITH my trade account it was over $200!! went with 50mm PVC and 6 t joins,6,6 of elbows and made a real sturdy frame for $70. 50mm pvc. i just dont use a bucket seat. works perfect!

Nice guide i made the same rig with a seat out of a 01 celica (good seat/ terrible mounting points all the mounts were flat but 1 was verticle)
