Why nicky acts like Mariah's comments are irrelevant. I mean, she's the only person in this panel worthy to judge your vocals and Nicky acts like she's a joke like the nerve she couldn't even sustain a note.

Why do I feel like over half of the contestants would not have made it to Hollywood had it been solely up to Mariah? Lol. Most of the time she looks COMPLETELY unimpressed, and I feel like she feels obligated to say something nice because all the other judges did.

I just think Mariah wasn't really in the business for finding a bunch of semi-decent performers and carrying them through, but instead would have thrived with the opportunity to work with 5 of the very best Idol auditions and crafted their artistry. Mariah is among the best discoveries the recording ever had and I just don't think she is someone who gets impressed easily.

Mariah is just keeping her diva persona. She was impressed though. I don't see her overreacting while Patti Labelle doing a tribute for her. I mean she cried for it but she also cried for that one woman who sang let it be in this show.
