I playe a nurge campaign this weekend, once past Horst it gets a lot lot easier. My opinion of Nurgle has changed, I like them now. Even their buildngs... You only have to build them once, they don't need upgrades and their units mid to late game are very strong.

Been playing a Nurgle campaign too, and it's not actually that horrible anymore. No mortis engine for Ghorst makes the early game a lot less painful. But the economy is so bad. I'm at turn ~40 in my campaign and I still can't afford more than one stack.

I doubt they’d ever fully remove sieges, so if you want that to happen I think a better idea would be to make a mod where province capitals have a lot more units in their garrisons and the wall buildings give you much higher tier units (for example, High Elves tier 5 walls would give Sisters of Avelorn and Phoenix Guard and like 2 Star Dragons)

I found that if you absolutely want to pick the Sword of Khane, the best person for it would be a random basic b*tch prince, because legendary lords are good enough without it, and their unique weapons are quite nice.

Incendiary mage on dragon, IMO. Turns the mage into a mobile duelist with crazy potential for infantry mass destruction due to spellcasting.

How did legend load preferred lords/heroes? He also used earth blood once battle had been decided against saphery. Mods? If so, anyone know what they are?

@@Oculusinfinium literally just learned that saved heroes can be recruited in other campaigns to keep gained traits - mind blown. I was also getting confused as to why he could heal post battle but i believe SFO scraps that which I've played with recently. Thanks for the help clarifying

Hey legend , how do you deal with tzeench these days , as in his campaign, the ai has become more aggressive since you last did your campaign when the game first released. It's alot more challenging, would you still deal with it the same way, would love another play through , it's one of my favourite factions, and sadly , I just suck at them haha 😅

IMO, Tzeentch is only really frustrating because of the early game logistics. You need to clean up the chaos wastes all the way to the east (in a perfect world, anyway), then rush all the way west to deal with Oxy, and then rush back to the center to deal with Teclis. So much moving back and forth. But if you can get Kairos leveled up a bit to get his magic going then he'll kill Teclis and Oxy just fine one on one. And since you control WOM levels, Kairos really should always be pretty close to max WOM. And if you can make the AI blob then Kairos can really hurt that infantry a lot. Also note that if you can last long enough, you'll get both Aekold Helbrass (who is freakishly tanky and has built-in AoE regen) and the Scribes, who at high levels are ridiculously strong. Particularly if you hunt down Yuan Bo on top. Being Tzeentch, you should really appreciate what he does and do your best to keep him alive and unwell.

To fix settlement battles they should remove butt ladders, make minor settlement battles similar to how they did in rome 2 when you get chokepoints but no towers or anything like that unles you build walls ofcourse.

On that note Tyrion should have some unique flavor with the sword bc of the whole Heir of Aenarion thing and (as much as it hurts to say) his end times lore where he went to town holding the Sword. Maybe boost to army and reduced penalties.

I know Legend wants better sieges. But I think the next game needs better diplomacy and mechanics. There needs to be trade and trade blockade. I want to force my enemy into peace without a single combat. Alliances that I forge, and not what is being forced on me. I want weaker states to fear the strong ones and forge coalitions. Not going to war which is a clear suicide. I want my spies to collect info on enemies, and learn about their plans, economy and all. I WANT TW EU4, basically!

Go play EU4 if you want that deep of diplomatic mechanics. Improving fundamental battle mechanics should take priority over diplomacy in a battle simulator.

@LoneWanderer727 TW is not a battle simulator, it's a strategy game. And I agree with you that battle is the most important part of the game but Diplomacy is being ignored more and more. And I do play EU4 and I always thought TW would be a great game if they incorporated some of the EU4 mechanism. Like weaker states uniting to counter your agression while States having a straight forward agendas and goals.

For Bethesda games I just use the console commands to give myself the talents if they can be grinded, the grinding part just kills my interest and I end up never finishing the game for years sometimes lol

I dont get the problem You have with authority system beside its just maybe too simple. Ive never had any problem with it and I have always more than enough points to solve problems. But maybe, just maybe its because I play on very hard insted of legendarny. Or mayby my palystyle is a bit less agresive, but watching Your Carl campigns its not that different just slighty. So maybe its combination of two. And another thing, the best option to kill character when its routing at the end of the battle is using cavalery insted using another character.

I was really convinced Bloodline of Aenarion was a new mod similar to Conquest of the Blood Dragons. I would have never someone making such a huge point of lord skills taken coming... I don't know if it was intentional clickbait but I'm beyond disappointed and my day is ruined.
