A useful update to Revit would be the ability to create tables in annotation views, such as creating a table for legends without drawing line by line.

I hope that someone can help, Could you let me know why the properties of the component ( window ) in the legend component drop-down menu not match the dimensions of the properties given? I also re-saved the window and reloaded into the project but no change to window its self TIA if you can help

Hey Balkan, Thanks for these videos they are a huge help. I am trying to dimension a door in a "floor plan view" and it wont let me snap my dimension reference line to anything in that view. Is there a way to get around it?

Balkan, when I copy windows with different heights, it says "Error ID376796 ". It's something about the dimension lines and it only gives me the option to remove them. Am I doing something wrong? Thanks for your content as always!

This must be the worse part of revit, The fact that you can't use legend components to properly make a window or door legend (you can't tag or dimension some of them). This is not the best workarround for this , i would sugest to use design options or phases for door or window legend.

Seconded. On my projects we typically have a preliminary phase for all of our system legends such as windows, doors and walls. The big issue with legend components is instance controls can't be changed... such a pain!
