Only the helmet is Amarok. The rest of the armor is Efaunt. I have shrines on the map that are offscreen. There is an alchemy bubble that boosts defense, but I don't recall how high I have it. I also have defense boosted from the party dungeon Flurbo shop; either +20% or +25%. I can't really remember, but I do know that I still need to boost those sources some more.

It disappears, however, you have two options. You can either drop things you don't need to swap with other things before you leave the area. Or, you can unlock the Deodated Ram pet/follower, which allows you to access storage from anywhere. Now, you can AFK for as long as you like without needing to worry about this. May take a while to unlock it, though. I have C. Custard (same chance of unlocking Ram), idk if I was lucky or what.
