Legends of the Lake..Classic Boats on Lake Erie

Some fabulous boats and an interesting history lesson on the Dart and Lyman’s. My little 1962 Ideal Craft Classic seen in my music video was an inexpensive little mahogany runabout originally made by the Ideal Boat Company of Philadelphia. Still not sure if they were sold as kits or already assembled. If you have any insight, I appreciate hearing it.

What year was the videos taken? (Not Uploaded)at 13:50 is Frank Muscioni.I knew him when he bartended at his bar called "The Pump Bar and Grill" on SR 4 and West Strub Rd, two miles south of Sandusky, Ohio.I had no idea he worked at Lyman boats.I grew up in Sandusky and was on the lake all the time.I stumbled onto this video totally by accident.Frank was a good man, R.I.P..

Nice boats but to bad Skiffcrafts were not included in this film they are still being made and you can order a new 2013 26 ft boat from the factory in Plain city Ohio. I have a 22 ft Skifcraft runabout not a show peice but still gets a comment or two in the marina .
