Legends of the Land: Darby Dan Farm

I am proud to say that I worked on the farm in the late 70's. It was absolutely beautiful and amazing, from the orchards, the hay and straw fields, the beautiful horse barns, the horse racetrack and grandstand, the zoo, John's house, Danny's house, the worker's homes, the golf course, and the party house that was home to the Pittsburg Pirates trophys and the farm horses trophys.

Darby Dan Ohio farm was also Beautiful . They have sold it to the state parks and now it’s ruined. All grown up in wildlife weeds and the barns were torn down to make way for more “wildlife” habitat. Glad it’s not all being developed but it’s still awful to see.
