This show has gone downhill, it is filled with unoriginal characters. This is supposed to be a dc comics show but it just has weird and uninteresting character. I’m not hating I’m just stating my opinions

I agree with some parts, it's not really a superhero show anymore. But think of it more as a comedy science fiction show. Season 1 was not very good because it tried to be too serious. But with introducing more creative original elements, it has gotten more enjoyable as a show in general. It doesn't need to focus on pointless action and overexaggerated drama to be good. It's now more like an american version of Doctor Who with more characters who also have superpowers. It has gotten way better over time in my opinion because it managed to grow from a predictable, cliché, dark superhero show with characters none of the other show had space for anymore into a fun, funny, creative and self aware time travel show with relatable characters and just ridiculous enough setpieces. It reminds me of Guardians of the galaxy, those movies barely resemble the stories from the comics, but they made those changes work better than the source material. It doesn't need to be just another dc superhero show if it can be something more.
