@@primecreator5257 I meant league as a whole, and sure there are plenty. Tekken 7, SFV, Apex Legends, Valorant, KOF XIV, Overwatch, Titanfall.. Fuck idk, name a game they're probably mostly balanced. Unless you mean card games then that's not very stable. I've honestly never played LoR (and didn't realize this was a LoR video, wasn't referring to it earlier), but from what I've heard from LoL friends who also play LoR is that it's very build and match up dependant; pretty much like most competitive card games. Knowledge matters but chance and match up play a bigger part. Lockdown and burn decks, deck outs (milling), otks, ftks-- take your pick. I wouldn't say card games are unbalanced because they can't necessarily be, but by definition they're not balanced either. Card games are a lot of chance that have to be capitalized on, which is the only measure of skill. Edit: let's use poker as an example. This is the most "balanced" card game in existence because everyone has the same chance, in theory. The difference takes place in how that chance plays out. Someone might get a full or a straight while someone else has 2 pairs max. The skill is?measured in how?well the lesser hand can try his best to play up his pull with whatever odds he's given, but at the emd od the day it's not more than a bluff. It's a chance. I imagine in LoR it's possible to "brick" (open with a hand that allows for little to no play to snowball off of). On the other hand (pun intended), your opponent could get a full burst play in his opening hand and otk (one turn kill). The best you could do is stall until you have a hand. It's not that you're bad or he's better necessarily, his deck might just have more synergy and be more consistent based on archetype.

I just noticed that the same 3 characters appear in at least 3 cards from Targon. If you look closely, the 3 adventurers/sojourners on Gift Giver, Tyari the Traveler, and Mountain Sojourners are all the same. I love this. Not only do you feel like you are watching frames from different parts of the characters' adventure, but it also makes the world feel more alive. Assuming the mechanics and gameplay of a game is solid - which in this case is - these little things are what elevate a card game and make it stand out.

I don't know how I forgot that with a new set we were going to get another cinematic. And, once again, it was epic. The stunning art with the low FPS style they use makes for quite a unique experience. Congrats to the artists again for a beautiful and touching video.

I love what they are doing with animation, they are experimenting so much different styles and not closing themselves to a particular look, here the 2d and 3d mix looks amazing a bit like into the spiderverse have made!
