I agree with this comment, and what made me become a better survivor in game is playing killer. I learned a lot from survivors when they loop me in areas that didn’t seem loopable and/or finding interesting counter plays that I could used myself as a survivor

Sadly, Legion’s one of the few killers where their add-ons don’t change the state of the game too much because they ARE genuinely that bad. Please give something to this killer dude :(

I posted in a DBD facebook group about Legion getting some buffs the other day. The amount of people saying that they need a nerf, or that they're fine as they are was astounding. I even had people say stuff like 'oh but I play Legion and 4k every game' man shut up

Oh yeah, in low MMR Legion is a threat for sure, Mid MMR He's still a threat but manageable, but in high MMR you might as well be playing an M1 killer with no power with it being pre-run and pre-drop central. So yeah, I've come to the conclusion that Legion is only hated on because people remember "old" Legion, where they were super oppressive and are still "scarred" by the experience.

im a legion main, the only way to even get a 2k vs a swf thinking its a comp match for $5 is to tunnel one or 2 and proxy a 3gen from the start, if they run away during chase from your gens end it and run back and repeat, so fun especially when the maps bigger than the milky way XD

The craziest thing is the disparity between Legion and other killers. They're supposed to be high-speed, but are slower than almost every other killer that can gain speed. Victor is almost uncounterable while moving at 150% with the ability to see blood. But Legion moving a bit faster and being able to see blood would be op (gotta stop those moonwalkers somehow). When BHVR finally got around to nerfing Blight, they couldn't even do that properly and had to nerf them again a week later (he still breaks the game btw). Legion has an add-on that stops their power from working and another that straight up doesn't do anything. Then they decided to buff Huntress, one of the strongest yet balanced killers in the game for some reason. I know these are what-aboutisms, but it's just insane to me that BHVR (seemingly) think Legion is fine because they have a decent pick and kill rate.

Oh fr! I was playing Legion a while back and I was at the third or fourth hit where I should be gaining speed, but instead it felt like I was still going at first hit speed. A survivor had Balanced Landing (or Lythe/Sprint Burst I can't remember now) and they took off like a rocket, way faster than I could ever catch up and I was kinda pissed, like why should a survivor be faster than Legion in their Power after they've chained hits? It is bonkers that a lot of people think that Legion is "broken" or "OP," like bruh, Legion is a feast or famine killer and it sucks so bad, because I find their gameplay incredibly fun.

That build worked against you. If you used Dark devo instead of tinker you can still use legions power with it's detection capabilities. Plaything, unless you use aura will never work well with legion. Try game a foot. This would allow you to use dark devo more rapidly.

I've always been of the opinion that Legion is a perfectly designed Killer, they're just in an imperfect game. Legion has strong tools for everything you'd want out of a Killer, EXCEPT for chase power. Which, in theory, is a really good design for a Killer: one who gives every tool imaginable to Killer players skilled enough to get downs on their own. The problem is that it's just not realistic to get downs through your own skill, even with chase perks helping you out. Chases lean too far in the Survivors' favor in a standard matchup, so if your power can't deal with looping and/or W-keying, it doesn't matter that you're the perfect swiss army knife, because all that matters in this game is how big your blade is.

In my opinion, you didn't do that bad this match. I count 6 hooks as a tie, less as a loss and more as a win. At least by my lax rules, you won that match, idk if that helps tho

I’ve always thought a good buff/rework for Legion would be for one of the other Legion members to spawn from the first frenzy hit and hunt down other survivors and apply deep wound, however you’d be the only one to down survivors. Then Knight came out lol, I do hope they do something with the Legion because they’re a super cool character and so powerless 💀

Every legion that I get in my lobbies are the most hardcore campers ever because they take advantage of the fact it wastes time to heal against legion so it’s hard to trade that’s really the only way to win with him in high mmr

leg probably won't get a buff for a while because of their flawed spreadsheet philosophy. people on a low level frequently just rage-quit against legion because they don't want to mend and hate being injured for free despite it not guaranteeing downs; lower tier/super casual players just simply get scared about being injured instead of learning to play around it. But anywho, that's just all to say that leg probably satisfies BHVR's numbers without analyzing the story behind said numbers. As they are oft want to do. The upcoming ptb feels like the epitome of all I've been whining about this week in your comment section lol.

lots of things about them can get buffed to be better; base-kit add-ons, quality of life improvements, faster speeds, etc. @DeadbyDaylightBHVR won't do any of that tho! (huntress buffs are more important)
