Thanks for the video. How do you think this update with lossless compares to the GO's new driver update with AFMF2? I've used lossless for about 780ish hours and I find it harder to go back to lossless with AFMF2 available now. It seems like lossless has higher input latency.

on handheld companion you can switch distribute of energy. I have 70% cpu and 30% gpu. gpu works on 90%, cpu on 3ghz - 3,5ghz.

Steam > Click on lossless scaling in your games > Click on the gear icon > Properties > Betas > And select "beta - beta" then update Lossless 👍

I only showed 4 cores in the video for people who play games at a low wattage, like 15W. Personally, I mostly play plugged in, so I always use 25W with 8 cores.

In the last 2 days I'm facing with a weired behavior from lossless scaling. Before the activation on some games I was recording like 30fps, while after the scaling the recording was "60/120"....why the original fps appears like 60 and not like 30?@it looks like a miracle😂, but the problem is that the game was a mess. It was like playing 15fps while lossless scaling was actuve....it never happened before. it is a kind of scam from the lossless scaling app (?). Actually the value 60 fps is the cap I putted into the games. Has anyone some clue or is facing the same problem?

@souleateryo mmmh it was not in global settings (that where on quality in amd adrenaline), but after your suggestion went to force the integer scaling to "disabled" on the single game setting and now it works. Thancks, man. I'm not sure this was the problem, but tks 😊

I forgot to mention this in the video: for Hogwarts Legacy, I changed the scaling type from FSR to SGSR and set the sharpness to 8. As you mentioned, this is because I was already using AMD FSR in the game.

I tested it with FSR enabled at the same time, and it ran fine without any problems. However, to avoid potential issues, I recommend using SGSR instead if you’re already using FSR in the game.

FSR in Lossless Scaling simply adds sharpness to the game, and you can use it at any resolution.

i notice if you do use 4 core 8 thread, better set TDP to 22w. higher than 22w, doesn't make the device perform faster. just 1 or 2 fps. what a waste of energy and heat

In this video, I used a 25W TDP, so I played with 8 cores and 16 threads. For 4 cores and 8 threads, I recommend using it at a lower wattage, like 15W.
