This is such a good review. You even showed it working with an egpu. You seem to be the only one prepared with an in depth review to release after the embargo lifted, which I appreciate since we're starved for content on the Legion Go. You gained my sub. I hope this video gets more views and you gain more subs even after bigger channels release content because you deserve it 👍

Fantastic review! Thank you. One of the most dense and comprehensive reviews under 20 minutes I've ever seen. Only suggestion, there's so much info so fast a 30-60 second recap, maybe a text list of pros and cons, might be a nice addition, but I still prefer it super fast like this, too many reviews take too long.

Really good review, but he talks/go through things at such a high pace. I re-watched and found changing the playback speed to 0.75 is perfect!

Still solid review 👍. Straight to the point with nice presentation as well different configuration of how to use the controllers. Usually you would have to look through a few reviews which miss a few things. This one essentially has everything or more than others ✨.

Great video! I am sold on the Legion Go. I am glad that you can make each detachable controller into a individual controller like on the Switch. Can you test out using an SD card on the Legion Go while using it at its highest temps? Wanna make sure we don't have another ROG Ally in that situation.

掌機本來就不是玩特效，主要就是給想要隨時開來玩的特點人士，然後開個900P-720P就很夠了，要續航就帶個小包，隨身帶個支援PD的行充就很夠了，至於想要玩高特效… 您還是去玩家機或桌機吧…

1080p144hz等等都太虚了，长时间玩steam deck和rog ally得出的结论，win掌机现在性能还是不行，想玩3a大作的玩家看都别看，狂躁的风扇。超高的温度。时不时的掉帧，你们无法接受。我是没事时喜欢躺着玩个RPG像是魔界战记什么的，刷刷猎人崛起，打打魂系列之类不那么吃性能的刷子游戏，玩暗黑也挺爽。其他别多想。也别想着能随身携带，这玩意儿基本1个多小时就没电。对了rog ally买个底座加点东西玩lol也是很轻松稳定。想尝试的朋友去best buy买个，回去玩一个礼拜，觉得可以就留下，不行就退了，付个包装费即可。

同意，雖然SD可以玩3A，但我大部分都是玩要農的JRPG或刷子遊戲，3A實在太耗電了，現在的科技還是有限制在，雖然能夠玩一小時的3A跟以前比起來還是很屌了雖然光是可以隨手農跟刷刷刷就已經夠爽了

Bruh i will not buy that burning your ssd card and what do you mean rog ally also got 1-2 hour too before it will run out of power depend on the game your playing and legion go has the highest frame rate, resolution, has a detachtable joycon and mouse too

Awesome in-depth review! What eGPU enclosure are you using? I ordered a Legion Go after watching this and would love to know what eGPU might work with it. This could very well replace my gaming PC.

In new legion go Chinese version we don't have to setup windows initially?? Out of box it comes with windows prelogged in with user as Admin and some driver files?

Yeah it isn't great but they made it clear from the get go months ago that audio was not the focus for this device. They only installed basic speakers where as ROG ally made that a priority. Not a problem for me as I will be using headphones 99 percent of the time but it is definitely a factor

Excelente review amigo. El futuro es prometedor para estos dispositivos, creo que este es buen balance entre el steam deck y el Rog. Me gustaria que en el futuro los fabricantes se enfocaran mas en la duracion de la bateria, pero de ahi en fuera este parece ser el mejor dispositivo en el mercado.

I think the speaker placement is not fair for recording. I think the white speaker is on the front while the black one is on the top. Am I wrong?

Software can be fixed. If everything else is that good I’m happy with my preorder. Even the steam deck had software issues at launch.

The ally only has better speakers and vrr, the legion go seems to be much better.

這品類的機我覺得最大的優點是可以安裝其他WINDOWS 軟件進行一些簡單工作，出去帶這一個本子就可以了。只玩遊戲的話，買來玩兩個小時..... DEAD CELL 才三個多小時. 我玩SWITCH 都能玩一整天了。但如果是遊戲狂迷，還是很值的，你想上街做事，那上8小時街，你能有兩小時是在享受3A 大作，那很夠了，不然你上街都是打機嘛? 那不如在家裡，別上街了。

the design is a copy of the OLED Switch and the packaging is the same as the Steam Deck even down to the holographic stencil on the cardboard. That's sort of funny. Seems like a neat machine but so big and clunky for a 'portable' gaming machine. Still it's tempting.

This is by far the most powerful one for it's price range. It's not even that heavy at a little under 2 pounds. That won't be a problem at all. And the design takes the premise of the oled switch and massively expanded on it. The controls blow the switch controls out of the water

@@djloeffler3141 yeah not saying it's a bad machine. Like I said it's tempting. I think it's good for the price. The Ally is over priced, it would be better around $500. It doesn't even come with a case. And the 'stand' it comes with is a joke.

I thought the Legion Go had a native landscape display? Lenovo themselves said they were going to add native landscape screens on their final product, no?

That Lenovo guy wasn't really a tech guru, i bet he said it's landscape just cause it looks landscape in Windows once it's rotated...they are using the same portrait display they already used on their recent y700 tablet, which makes perfect sense since they want to keep costs down and using a display already in production is way cheaper than start the production of an entirely new display made just for one device

I'm worried now considering the cpu performance, i didn't really expect it could be lower than rog ally. Now, i wanted to get an 8 core cpu handheld because i'm interested in good performance on RPCS3 emulator which is cpu based. I'm not really enthused about cpu results if Rog Ally can make better.

ROG Ally was underwhelming at release before multiple updates. The Legion Go will receive multiple driver and BIOS updates too likely pushing it above the ROG Allys performance given the faster RAM
