Being a huge DC fan, its great to see DC Funko finally do a DC box right. While I have enjoyed the boxes from Legion of Collectors, they have always been missing something. This box however, was everything I would have wanted. Another great unboxing guys. Keep up the great work.

Batman: The Animated Series is my OG Batman and the series that really got me into DC in the first place, so I was super stoked! When I first found out the theme, had I been a betting woman, I would've put my money on Man Bat being the featured pop (which is exactly why I don't gamble!). I LOVE the Mr. Freeze pop, but I would've expected him to come in another Animated Series wave since he's so popular. I'd really love to see a pop version of Talia al Ghul with her mask of Anubis eventually. Great review, as always!

Just want to mention that the Joker patch is actually an image from an episode of the series. At top of my head I cannot remember the title of the episode but if I am correct it was in the first season of the series. Sorry when I saw the patch my BAS nerd fangirl arose! my first official LoC box and I'm happy with this box. although I was able to order the Superman March box which I just had to get since he is my favorite character but I loved the Batman animated series as a kid so I'm glad I was able to get it. that Mr. freeze pop looks so great

First, I'm a new subscriber, and I just love the channel! Second, I absolutely loved your custom Smallville Pops, and I REALLY wish Funko would do a Smallville series! I mean, c'mon, it ran for TEN seasons, and opened the door for what became the DCTV lineup, on the CW, as well as others! I skipped this box and sorry I did but I didnt have a choice. I think your wrong though about there not being a mr freeze pop. There is one that came out with the batman 66 series. I understand he isnt from the animated series but it was still a great pop. The thing I do like about this one is the helmet. Great box all around.

This one was definitely better then what we've been seeing lately in the other boxes! The Vynl line is pretty cool. I'm a big fan of kibookied (Instagram) so I'm happy they are working with him again. Although sometimes Funko has a habit of changing his designs so much that they look more like a mystery mini then his designs. I'm hoping they do his Stranger Things line. His designs were amazing! I'm a bigger Star Wars and Marvel fan, but even I have to admit that Legion of Collectors has been knocking it out of the park pretty consistently since day 1, which is definitely not something I can say about MCC or Smuggler's Bounty. While people's tastes and collections may differ, there's literally not a single bad item in this particular box. Here's hoping Funko can up their Marvel and Star Wars games pretty soon here.

I took my self on asking them about that MCC shirt fiasco and this what their answer: (which in my opinion is still bogus) Hi there Jesus! All products in our subscription boxes are Funko products, and are available exclusively through the subscription boxes. We don't have control over products that other manufacturers or retailers might create, and the linked Hot Topic shirt is a perfect example since this shirt isn't a Funko product. Because the design for this shirt is based on a imagery from the actual Spider-Man Homecoming movie, it's not entirely surprising that it's a popular design that other manufacturers are also emulating, but the experience of being able to wear a shirt that boasts imagery you'll see in the movie (and maybe even that you'll be able to see be worn by characters in the movie) is precisely why we worked with Marvel to be able to include this exciting t-shirt design in our box. I didn't get this box because I've been cutting down on boxes, but I regret it for that Mr Freeze Pop alone. Of course my favorite villain from the cartoon had a Pop in here. Go figure. I'm not usually a Dorbz fan, but I do like the Rides. That Batmobile is great. Even the shirt is nice since it isn't a boring, generic big eyes Funko shirt

the box is really good I didn't get it because I'm not a huge DC fan but I am extremely disappointed that they would do a box with the theme of Batman the Animated Series which gave us one of the most memorable and coolest villains in Harley Quinn and yet they do nothing at all in the Box for her. that is very disappointing

Nerd Therapy I would love if they did that, that would be a DC box I buy but they've already spurned me with the suicide squad box. I got that one thinking I was going to get something good Harley Quinn and instead they drop the ball there and gave us an enchantress pop, which I will admit was very cool and I liked it, but they could have given us another pop of Harley or at least a dorbz. I just feel that they have had at least two opportunities to do something cool with a huge fan favorite and have come up short.

Harley has a fun personality and interesting story but other than that she's not amazing. My opinion, though.

Kenny Langford the thing is though that Harley was one of the major selling points of the movie, so there was already tons of merch and pops for her. If she was in the Suicide Squad box she wouldve just been a variant. Which is cool enough, but having exclusive characters like Mr Freeze, or Enchantress makes the box feel a lot more valuable. If it had been Harley with a bat for example it wouldve been cool, but it wouldnt feel like it was worth it since you can buy her without a bat for 8 bucks. Exclusive character pops make the box worth it. Thats one reason why the Wonder Woman box wasnt the greatest. It was cool that there were two pops but one of them looked almost identical to the other 3 or 4 Wonder Woman pops from the line. Dr Poison was the best thing in that sorta lackluster box.

John S well see I didn't say I didn't want enchantress or the Mr Freeze pops, they are both awesome, I just think they should have included something Harley Quinn especially when you have a box that is themed after the show that introduced her. they could have kept the mr. freeze pop and Batman dorbz ride and instead of the Batman t-shirt they could have done a Harley Quinn in her red and black outfit and that would have been awesome. that would be a box I would be interested in big time. and yes I get that there are a lot of different versions but you can pretty much say that with every pop especially Deadpool but that doesn't stop me from getting them all, I have an entire shelf dedicated to nothing but Deadpool and a space for the upcoming venompool. but with all that being said I'm starting to lean towards Q figs because they are absolutely gorgeous and fantastically detailed and Funko needs to watch out or take notes.

I kinda disagree with you guys on what the pops should be. I think that of it is a minor character like snaggle tooth then it's fine, but when a major character like Mr freeze is an exclusive to a box anyone who isn't into collecting yet and is a big btas fan they are gonna have a terrible time getting it. with Disney treasures is think with dumbo the sculpt is unique enough to warrant a remake, Pluto isn't as major as some Disney characters (still fairly major ), and smee isn't a super major character. As of now ive been subscribed to every box, I dropped marvel and star wars. Disney treasures hasn't had anything that I have disliked so far, and DC has been all around descent. but that's just my silly opinion.

Usually i would agree but I think the problem here is that BTAS is so large and encompasses so many characters it wouldn't matter what villain was in the box. It would be "major" to someone. Also fans shouldn't have a terrible time getting him. You just have to order him on their website whenever you want. These things don't sell out and aren't exclusive to the month... (like they should be) In my opinion. I would say the Disney box is doing it completely wrong. We personally do not subscribe to a special Funko box to get re-sculpts of previously done characters. That is not a good way to reward your subscribers. Re-sculpts should be sold in mass not mystery boxes. Dumbo and Tinker Bell re-sculpts wont keep us subscribed. Smee and Pluto will. Overall Funko must reward their subscribers with undone or unique characters. The point of these funko boxes were to help collectors accrue special characters in their collection because they subscribe to their $30 box. If they venture too far away from that they will lose subscribers and a fan base that feels "special" for subscribing.

Totally agree. If they just reworked previously existing pops for the hardcore collectors sub boxes I would be majorly annoyed and feel taken advantage off. It's not like it's hard to get.
