That's why people in KR don't like this raid that much, the amount of mechanics is overwhelming Even for experienced players, it takes very few people to mess up and cause a wipe, sometimes only one person messing up can lead to a wipe. Vykas is the first experience in Lost Ark that Made me feel frustrated and humilliated, both by the boss and by the players.

They had it nailed down so well with Valtan being hard to master but simple to learn then they go ahead and make all these Vykas gates that seem like convoluted and unnecessary mechanic-dumps throughout the whole fights. I'm legit worried about the reception of Vykas in the west.

True, this is why KR user agrees Valtan is one of the most-well designed raid. To be fair, Valtan becomes pretty damn easy after mastering it. Maybe too easy for me. Also, Smilegate had one big problem in Valtan raid, the Valtan solo bus. Existence of Valtan bus ruins whole 'first experience' of clearing Valtan raid and it is one of gold sources in the market, which caused gold inflation and user level increase without skill improvement. Preventing bus is one of key purpose of mechanism. If too many failed to perform mechanism, there will be wipe. Still there are buses after Valtan, but much fewer and mostly not solo bus. As a KR player, I still enjoy Vykas raid but unlike Valtan raid, Vykas raid sometimes become pain in the ass, because 1 or 2 people in the raid party can totally mess up the raid due to massive amount of mechanics. It is still fun though.

@@ELPCPU Valtan becomes really easy, but at the same time it remains fun and interesting, there's always the risk of falling off the map, You make one mistake and that can lead You to your death.

The medusa at last stagget mechanic got me a bit confused and I had to rewatch some times to make sure the PINK clone would do the explosion and no one needs to look at her! Also, can you explain which kind of skill and at what moment we can use it to STUN mind controlled people? I got some trouble to explain to some friends at my party, since people think only sleep bomb works. Thanks bro!

fought vykas gate three so much I know all her mechanic by heart lmfao. Took me 4 days 8 hour straight to finally get her done. She is definitely not as hard as valtan. The thing that made it hard is the team mechanic. It requires your team to know what they are doing. Im for sure that after some weeks pass, people will be able to run it better. Because its definitely gonna weed out the player that has trouble running it for sure. Also some will master the raid mechanic by then. Valtan was easier because one player can carry regardless of how many team mate there is.

I'd like to see a consistent strat for the 0 bar berserk phase, bcs if there aren't enough ppl alive stagger dmg is too low (even with esther). I know of the safe places but we're having problem managing our lust bars during this phase.

you're on a whole new different type of crack if you think you can clear this raid fully in 2 hs on the first week. every gate alone takes AT LEAST 4 hs even if you're overleveled and have god himself as your support on the first try
