The authentic you can make lines in it like a vacuum on new carpet.. the replica looks like it has high quality tumbled leather. It's amazing how close the rep's are compared to the authentic. 80s-90s shoes are 1:1 in UA. They might not get the materials at first but they'll correct in on later batch. The PK ones, you can use mink oil to darken the shade of the nubuck

theres no such thing as 1:1 period. perfect reps do not exist. the travis scott highs came out 5 years ago and every real vs fake comparison ive done over the years still have flaws. Mink oil can help address the color but that speaks to my point even more that they arent 1:1 because if you have to use mink oil in the first place that means they arent 1:1. that doesnt even address the fact that the nubuck used on reps is thinner and flatter than retail pairs which is why they cant replicate the texture and detail of the transitional movement. but its not just that, look at the soles of off white 4s, look at the reverse swoosh on the travis fragments and reverse mochas, look at the the the elephant color and red sock liner on the reimagined 3s, all things that are still wrong in 2024 on current batches being produced that were never accurate and have not become more accurate even years after release. and these factories either cant fix it or wont fix it because if they would, I wouldnt be making videos on off white 4s almost 5 years after release still talking about the same flaws and issues.

Appreciate the legit check my friend. You mentioned the size of the box - is it possible for authentic pairs to have different size boxes? I'm asking because the shoebox for my union AJ1 blue toes (from goat) is bigger than my union AJ1 black toes (stockx), both US9. Could that be a 'factory flaw' for example?

Possible. Boxes get replaced all the time if something happens to them before they get shipped out to stores. I’ve seen some shoes come with a generic box and a computer printed tag before at outlets. If the shoes checkout you’re fine
