24-year-old Shola (not real name) was lured to Libya by an Agent who reportedly tricked her mother to Lebanon (he had promised to take her to Canada).
She lost contact with her mother, and found herself in a totally strange land where she was repeatedly molested till she got pregnant. She didn't know about the pregnancy until she got to Nigeria.
The former University of Abuja undergraduate says she is now seven months gone but is yet to start her antenatal as she has nowhere to get money from to register at the hospital.

@Belltown Daisy true however he has viewers all around the world which could help...I in the USA and by no means is my country perfect and am poor myself. There is a vast difference in my version of poor living in a develop nation versus this young lady version of poor. I know if a go fund me was made available my "pennies" wouldn't fix all of her problems however I know it could do some good and help out a little. 100 USD to Nigerian rand is a nice penny now imagine ppl all over the world donate...

That tells the kind of education nigerians get in nigeria:200 level student was so mesmerized by illiterate human traffickers because she lacked basic knowledge about emmigration/travel procedure. Most nigerian students don't follow global events to know what's happening and where its happening. They don't even know about other countries of the world; the socio-economic and political situation of other countries at any given point in time. They only go to cram/memorize ten page note materials from their ignorant lecturers and cheat their way through school. Educated illiterate every where. It's not by speaking sweet grammar without critical thinking. Young people need to be versatile in acquiring important knowledge and information that can enable the face this dangerous world.limit the crave for entertainment and pleasure so as to focus on enlightenment of yourself because this life is a jungle. If you're not enlightened, you'll definitely be exploited.

The government of these countries, like Nigeria are the first culprits. They have set up there system in lowering the standard of education. A level of 200? What nonsense is that? What do they expect the young students to gain from such low standard education, without Global awareness? The young people are strapped into this system that their own government set up for them to fail, so they can keep the rich people rich and keep the less privilege poor. Most of these kids have been force into going abroad due to poverty. We need to show compassion and encouragement to them when they share their stories and not condemn them...it takes courage for them to relive the terrible tragedy they have been through.

Why cannot this woman let her daughter gives this baby for adoption a better life? Why African are still behind gathering up poverty for hardship life? Millions of babies adopted for better lives grew up and looked for their biological parents with prides and bests. Her action put her children jn to this urgly situations. Why are you keeping a baby who has no father in a poverty life that this woman"s action put heself and children.? It is so sad for this young girl to go through all these nonsense and deception. Her mum has faults, she could not look at her visa to discuss with her children. It is a pity.
