One of the two big things keeping me from being a buy at retail price point, along with the top will never get displayed. That is already a big cost / piece purchase and 15% of it is an afterthought, with no signature ‘50s chrome in the whole model.

I understand the limitations of Lego but the flatness of the front fenders really detracts from the look to me. The C1 is such a curvy vehicle and the front of this model just doesn’t capture that and makes it look weird and more like an Austin Midget than a Corvette. The lack of chrome is also a missed opportunity I think

In photos this disnt look like a model made from lego, i was worried it would have lots of custom lego peices, but clearly not, just great lego design. Very impressed despite the price.

Just wish Lego would have chosen the Mid Years '63-'67 Stingray or the '69 Stingray Vette - such a more aggressive and faster Corvette.

Nice set... LEGO did a good not great job of capturing the very unique silhouette of this iconic classic. Chrome would have made the price point a bit easier to take. It will be an added addition to my collection but not right away. It will display better in the convertible version for sure! The roof line in the hardtop is just a bit 'off'. Great review as always be safe and well!

I love this but my main issue that I DO NOT understand why is the rear end of the wheelarch made like that ? in stead of using same piece as the front end wheel arch thats smooth ? it makes no sense, it just looks odd but man what a sick model :D nice review to

I would've been fine with the price/ price per piece if they had done the light grey in chrome like it should've been. Honestly as a huge Corvette enthusiast since I was born (born into it), I'll probably get it, but if there had been chrome it would've been a day one purchase for sure!

There's a company in Poland called Chrome City which supplies gold or silver chrome bricks, but they can work out expensive (I bought some to finish of a building). It's worth it, though, if you want a really professional finish..

I have some chrome paint pins that I got from Amazon that I have used on some 3D printed parts, I might try them on some of the gray pieces that should be chrome.

I must say, the Corvette has really sexy curves and looks super solid. That's a heck of a LEGO car, but... ...if I had to choose between the Corvette and the relatively more expensive LEGO Yamaha MT-10 SP, I would go for the Yamaha. The Corvette is not my cup of tea.

Looks a great build, just my opinion but I'd love the stickers to be printed, as someone who isn't the best when coming to attaching the stickers (my wife is normally called upon to help at that stage). Keep up the amazing work

00:43 I really don’t understand the LEGO groups thinking….. They’re happy to produce a new windscreen piece for an overpriced set like this, but they couldn’t produce one for the recent Land Rover Defender set? Admittedly the new windscreen is probably partially why this set is sooooo overpriced, but still! Plus no chrome pieces for the bumpers or other metal work that is clearly chrome on the IRL Corvette!?!? I do kinda like the set, can see plenty of MOC/alternative build potential in it despite the limited parts (I’m thinking it could be turned into a Sunbeam Alpine) But there’s no way I would spend the full RRP on this. It’s a £100 set, not a £130 set!

I love Lego, but the prices are going too high, I have stopped buying so many sets, and focus on the ones I really wish to have now. Soon I will not be able to buy them anymore, they will be long out of my price range as many already are/ ie the AT-At, and Titanic

I think $150 is decent considering how expensive the landrover was, granted it had more pieces but scale remains similar. Can’t wait to grab one of these. Nice review

First, when I saw that there was a new Lego car, and I saw it was the Corvette, I was excited. I already have the Porsche 911, the Camaro, and the Ford Mustang, so it would be a nice addition. But the more I see pictures and reviews, I am disappointed. It looks too square. Not as rounded as the real model. I know it is Lego, but I rather have something like the previous models. The Porsche, Camaro, and Mustang. They look much better. I think I will skip this one and wait for a "better" model.
