I like how that yellow excavator waited patiently until the liebherr picked up some lego gravel

I have just built one of these, the finished model it’s self is magnificent. But building Lego models is like doing a jigsaw, you just match the bits to the plan, you do not need to have any technical capability, if your ok with jigsaws , you will be ok with this. But designing and building your own gearbox etc.. is truly using Lego to do engineering.

I agree. It's a fine set even if you get it just to follow instructions but the real possibilities come when you use the parts for your own designs. Try looking for "lego 42100 alternative build" for ideas.

It would give this thing more purpose if it automatically scooped up dog poo and dumped it.

pricewise this is the most disappointing lego set since a long time
@carver05105 жыл бұрын
In Germany it is sold by third parties for 349€ and it is absolutly worth it! You got a lot of parts (over 4000 pieces!) and many Power Functions. From this point it is very cheap. In the 90's the sets were much more expensive - also for the costs per piece.
@henrikohl3 жыл бұрын
I disagree, two control units and a bunch of motors, not to mention the 4000+ bricks. In Sweden you can get it for approximately 300€, good value I would say.
@MikkoRantalainen2 жыл бұрын
If you consider that it has two Control+ hubs and 7 motors and over 4000 pieces, it's actually pretty good price. Typically average price per part is around 0.10 EUR in Lego sets and this sells for that even if you totally ignore hubs and motors! That said, it's really expensive set.
