Given your love of hockey I think a small practice rink, like the end of a street iced over, with one goal net, and a few kids shooting goals, would be a lot of fun for a story.

I saw one in the Lego Winter Village Facebook group had line markings and all. Not a stadium but a good compromise.

It would be cool someday to decorate the whole city every holiday, like Christmas, Easter, etc. Love what you’ve done so far!
@reaganclo394417 күн бұрын
An idea I had was to have haunted woods near his haunted mansion. That area could be decorated like Halloween. The winter village could be decorated like Christmas. The park could be Easter with egg hunts.

Hi Bricksie. Yaay! The Artic section of the zoo looks stunning with the modifications. Your colour choices were brilliant, and the addition of blue really helps the snow to sparkle. We can see the polar bears and penguins clearly now. I think the addition of ice blue touches around the skating rink will have the same effect. Making just the village for now is the correct decision. A ton of work to sort out all the pieces, but you and Jose will work your magic, as you always do, and it will soon be done.

Great job bro. The detail is crazy good. Also you should add a Lego hockey stadium to the Lego City. That would be sick especially because you love hockey
@hawkleybroccoli477017 күн бұрын
Since you love hockey, you should put a hockey stadium where the residential used to be, that’s a city vibe but still breaks up the down town core
@bricknan16 күн бұрын
I love the icey look in the Arctic area, its perfect! In aussie zoos (animal parks) a lot of the frozen areas are just painted white and caves and enclosed spaces are chilled with air conditioning and have large ice blocks added to the water to chill the water on warmer days (cold water is normally all thats needed)

I think that you should lower the platform the Winter Village is sitting, and then put mountains/hills all around the Village making it a little valley cut off from the greater City and countryside Still, the city is looking great overall and I can’t wait to see it develop and continue!

I love the height of the winter village. It really shows it off instead of hiding behind everything else.

Let him just focus on it as is now as a little diorama on the table. Can always move it or re-arrange when the mountains come next year.

i reckon if you made the water level the height of the top of the windows you could put the polar bears under the water level so when you look in the windows the animals are under water. make the water upper level two plates this so you can fix it around the edges of the enclouser for strength. Making the animaks look as if they are under water would look amazing.

Hi Jordan, love your videos! What do you think about starting the country side behind the train yard as spring and continuing as summer, and just before the winter village have the fall/autumn. I think it would be really cool to have all the seasons combined in the country side area. Keep up the good work!

Hi Bricks - yup very new to your channel - very very impressed with your city, two comments. Agree where is the hockey arena? At least build an outdoor backyard rink for the kids to practice, or have a pond for a pick up game. Second on zoo area. One of the mini figs is walking down the stairs here is a suggestion, add a railing on at the side, helps for individuals who might be old or have mobility/stability disability to walk down. Suggest a ramp too for strollers and wheelchairs. So said she who is old and a double lower limb amputee who very once and awhile uses her wheelchair. I sport two great prosthesis! 🦿🦿

Are you planning to put Wayne mansion and the batcave in your lego city?
@alphonsesuitperson17 күн бұрын
should add a taller wall around the Christmas tree with some greenery and presents underneath like a Monument base(like the statue of liberty base) and the the tree base as is on top of it. Just an idea, think it would be fun and add to that scene! for your mountain side, maybe some dark tan, olive, and some other slopes sprinkled throughout with the white to add contrast, and break up the white, right now it is a little monotonous with the light grey blending in with the white. Just if you were unsatisfied with what you had.
