The gothic soundtrack of Batman 89 is incredible and it's amazing that BTAS, the Lego games and the Arkham series followed this style of music. Danny Elfman created an instantly iconic score and one that suits the dark and gothic style of Batman.

I think Lego Batman might be my favorite Lego game. It's the only one that I had fun with pretty much all the way through. The other games had so many smaller tasks like extra kits to build, and they were so esoteric and difficult. This game struck a good balance between characters, types of levels, and exploration of the world.

Same man. This game was my first real video game of all time (and no, I'm not counting the Leap Frog). Playing this game all the time as a kid was, and still is a joy to this very day. The roster might not be huge, but it's just right. Each of the campaigns (both hero and villain campaigns) all feel perfectly crafted and true to each of the teams. The hub world's of the Batcave and Arkham Asylum are so well made that I'm not mad at how limited they are in terms of size.
