LEGO Batman-The Dark Clown Rises (Stop Motion)

After tracking Harley Quinn, Bane and Deathstroke, Batman falls into a trap set up by the Joker who is holding hostage his three sidekicks: Robin (Jason Todd), Red Robin (Tim Drake) and Nightwing (Dick Grayson).
The events that unfold will change their lives forever.
This project was inspired by many Batman stories including "Death in the Family", "The Killing Joke", "Under The Red Hood", "Joker" and more.

I basically did a mix of a bunch of iconic Batman stories like Death of the Family, Death In the Family, Under the Red Hood, The Dark Knight, Batman Beyond... And now that's what that mix looks like. Why Jason? He's my favorite Robin, and as we all know, Jason hates the Joker. So when this tragic event happen, he sees that doing things Batman's way doesn't work. I'm working on a sequel to this LEGO Batman story so everything will be explained in more detail on that part.

I'm not usually a guy who nitpicks, but I think I should say this so that you are able to improve. The story was great! You are really creative, the twist you did was really cool and original. But the only thing that drives me off a little is Joker's laugh and how Batman's voice actor forced the deepness of Batman's voice. But I gotta say that in general you did a great job! Congratulations!

This was great, you did a really great job! If you don’t mind me asking, how many pictures do you usually take when making your stop motions and what FPS are they usually at? I’m making a new stop motion and it’s gonna be the first that I add voices to, also what editing software do you use and what kind of camera would be best for this?

Thank you! How many pictures do I usually take for a project like this? Thousands beyond counting, as many as are needed. How many frames per second? With my work, the frame rate would vary between 12 and 20 fps. For a beginner I would recommend 12 fps. Animation software: Stop Motion Studio Editing software: Final Cut Pro X Camera: You can animate with any camera whether it's a digital camera, a webcam or a smartphone/tablet. That being said, I, as well as many other animators, would recommend a camera with manual settings. For more tips and tricks for lego stop motion, I'd recommend checking out Brotherhood Workshop and Loneclone on KZbin.
