Making challenging animation ideas possible is all about problem solving, trial and error. At 6:25 you used a real flashlight to create muzzle flash's reflections on surfaces. This is a genius technique to save time because from my experience, I've just created reflections in After Effects, but damn the flashlight really saves time and effort. Thank you for sharing BTS material of your work!
