But the hydraxon set came out before the von nebula set, so theres no way its called the von nebula mask. The mask never had any name or power. Its simply the hydraxon mask.

Dekkar was transformed into the current Hydraxon by the Mask of Life. That's what actually happened.

I just bought this figure after years of wanting it. Dekar didn’t think he was Hydraxon, the Ignika mask transformed Dekar into Hydraxon and he believed he was the real Hydraxon. Dekar was buried deep within the new Hydraxons mind.

What can you do about missing pieces... Bricklink that's what. Lol TBH Hydraxon has become one of my favorite characters from Bionicle G1. Hydraxon's story in 2007 I find interesting. I wish they would have put some internal conflict in though. Like it wasn't the original Hydraxon's memories, but his actual consciousness coming through. Which would have lead to an internal struggle between Hydraxon and Dekkar. Cause while Hydraxon's will would overpower Dekkar. At the end of the day. He's a dead man walking around in some else's body. (By the characters point of view. The function of the Red Star is unknown to them.) So i think they could have had an arch where Hydraxon redeems himself for failing to contain The Pit. Afterwards Hydraxon leaves, returning to the Red Star awaiting for it's function to complete, and Dekkar becomes the new "Hydraxon". In which he goes on to aid the Toa in their quest to awaken Mata Nui. BTW I'm not the most familiar with the entire story, so if I actually said anything that does happen that's why. Now that being said. The only thing about this set that I wish was different. Was I wish so parts where the Keet Orange like Dekkar had. Just to visually connect these two characters together. Well thankfully Bricklink is a thing. So I can go through and swap parts, and make my version of Dekkar Hydraxon.
