6:59 - You need to add a small boat or two floating on that lake, either genuinely or supported. Maybe a fisherman catching a fish? 👍

Thats a cool idea, I thought already the same. 🥰 I hope I can find soon something into this direction. I am always looking on the second hand markets for cool Lego sets. 🤩

@@GardenBrickTrain - I assume you are already familiar with Brick Owl and BrickLink, as excellent sources for both sets and individual parts?
@GardenBrickTrain5 ай бұрын
@@LHyoutube yes, of course and other sources, which are much cheaper. 🤓 I have for example a very big Lego second hand dealer directly in my city, which is a great help for me, if I need only Lego parts. And whole sets are bought mainly from peoples, which are selling second hand on platforms like Ebay.

Have you thought of making station name signs? It would add a lot of character. I've had a lot of success with LEGO using a Brother PT-750w label printer (attached to a computer), their label design software and the various Brother tapes with coloured fonts on transparent tape. Especially good are their Matte tapes, which take away the glossy labelmaker look and make the signs look more realistic. Plus obviously the same machine means you can do labels for absolutely everything including trains, vehicles, buildings or even the minifigs themselves or their safety vests. The software and printer can do everything, any design layout, any kind of font you can find on a computer, graphics and clipart, even existing company logos that can be rendered in black and white. They also now make full colour label printers as well, although those are more expensive.

Yes, I heard already about that possebility. 😎 But I am not sure if it can be seen well in the videos, if the trains are passing by. And the next problem could be the UV radiation and humidity, I am also not sure if the stickers can survive this outside. I have no experience. 🙂 The Lego stickers are pretty robust, if the self printed stickers are the same, it would be great. I would like to print for example some railroad signs, but I have also no knowledgements about railroad signs... lol 😆 Hmm, I will think about it more...

@@GardenBrickTrain - I was already going to e-mail you offering to create a LEGO vehicle to post over and include in your town, so I can do you some various labels as well for your testing. I'll e-mail you shortly 👍

Sehr gute Regie/Schnitt! Schöne Anlage aber da sitzen so viele Fahrgäste, die abgeholt werden wollen!
@GardenBrickTrain5 ай бұрын
Vielen Dank! 🤩

Wow, how do you protect those Legos from weather? Do you just replace parts when they're broken ?
@GardenBrickTrain5 ай бұрын
The rail tracks are staying the whole time outside and I let stay them also, because until yet, they are doing great. 🙂 The stations and terminals are covered or can be removed as one whole segment, to protect them from the weather. But Legos are mainly made out of ABS plastic which is already very weather proof. Until yet, nothing broke or changed the color. I would report that immediately, because its also a ultimative Lego outdoor test. 🥸 🤗

Do you leave the Legotracks all year in the garden?
@GardenBrickTrain5 ай бұрын
Yes, I came now to the conclusion, that I will try that. The track is too long to be dismounted again in October (that was once the plan). But after so much rainfalls the last weeks, a winter should be also not a problem anymore. Lets test it out... 🤓😬
