This is an amazing video. I can't wait for 2010/2011.

I remember seeing one of the mega pictures of all the farm sets for City, and there was this entire field of wheat made up of yellow 4L bars inserted into green jumper plates, and I was like "Dude, where can you get all of those?" I had no desire to do such a thing, but the majority of colors those parts are made in are translucent because of Star Wars, the idea of having a solid yellow was totally new to me. It was rare before 2009, and it really didn't become a lot more popular until the late 2010s and early 2020s, but even then, there's only ever one or two in a set. Bricks and Pieces was probably the way to go if you wanted to create a wheat field, but it just felt like a bit of false advertising because in theory, with some of the loose parts in your collection and the line of sets, you could have a setup like what was shown, but who's going to have hundreds of yellow 4L bars for the harvester to even do it's job if you're not going to supply that set with something for it to harvest anyway? I did eventually get at least one yellow 4L bar in 7634, it provides a bit of added rigidity in the pins that hold that bucket thing in the back, and I never use it for anything. I don't even remember why I got it. For some reason, I get the sense that I needed to reach a certain price threshold for a promo, and my mom decided to pick it out for me, or maybe it was a gift, and anything LEGO would suffice. I don't know, but this set is always associated with my mom for some reason. Maybe it's just because she was there when I obtained the thing. It's so weird how I just don't know anything surrounding this set except that she was involved in some way. I like the black shovel, and the windshield pieces are neat, but I don't know if I've ever really used anything from it for anything, even just the basic bricks. I don't regret getting any LEGO set that's ultimately just for parts, but I never made good use of them and could have probably just left it as a tractor.

Lego City was amazing from 2005-2019 when Lego City Adventures marked its downfall.

I was unaware of Lego City past ~2014, I'll have to look into "Lego City Adventures"
