At present, several elements in this set are exclusive, such as the 6x8 and 8x8 45-degree cut roof tiles and the 2x12x5 rudder in Mata red, though one of the minifigure helmets in "vibrant yellow" is also new to this wave of Fire sets (also appearing in 60411). As a whole, this set has 44 fewer pieces than the earlier "Fire Plane" (4209) from 2012, though this could be attributed to how that set also came with a smaller fire jeep and more complex trees. But more interesting is how the 4x6 "triple wedge brick" in Mata red makes its 18th appearance in this set, though it has been in use for nearly twenty years. This part first appeared in "earth orange" (also called "Mata brown" or "Old brown") in early 2003 as part of the first version of the "Geonosian Fighter" (4478) from Star Wars. In August of that year, it also debuted in yellow as part of the "Land Busters" set (4404) from the "Designer" (later merged with "Creator") theme. At the start of 2004, (or the end of '03 depending on retail) this part debuted in white as part of the Dagobah version of the "X-Wing Fighter" (4502), which someone I was friends with had. Even though it wasn't fully assembled when I visited him. At the same time, it debuted in black in a "World City" set (7045), before the aforementioned theme was renamed to simply "City". In June 2004, this part first appeared in Mata red as part of the "Prehistoric Creatures" set (4507) from the "Designer" theme, which I obtained for my eighth birthday just over a year later. In the time since then, it has appeared in seventeen other colors, with some being "one-set-wonders", though only the ones in white, Mata red, and (presumably) orange, dark stone gray and earth blue are still in production currently.
