It's a common thing that as soon as your children go to daycare/ school, anything outside the house, they will catch a lot of viruses and things that are flying around resulting in parents getting sick quite often too. I heard it can take a year or 2 before it's over and you all get used to it. So I think it's important to really take your time to recover as much as you can so you might be able to handle the next thing that's thrown on you better.

Your canal is getting its water source from the ocean. You don’t need a water source up top near the botanical gardens for the canal. Maybe create a water source on the mountains behind the residential area and have that feed the streams in the countryside. Might save some head scratching for you guys 😊

Hey Bricksie hope you feel well soon. we love seeing you and Ms. Bricksie and a suggestion for transitioning the gravel road into forest is to use a lot of prickly plant elements in either tan or green. It will cover a lot of area and give nice textures!

Hi Bricksie and Jose. His episode was the Bricksie channel at its absolute best! Your frankness, enthusiasm, ideas and frustrations all came through in a delightful conversational way, and it's just awesome. We really feel part of the whole Bricksie brand. Hope you have a lovely weekend. Get better soon Bricksie.

A suggestion on how to blend the Zoo entrance with the countryside; You could consider your countryside area to be a National Park. If you do this you could add a small ticket booth, with a gate, some cars queuing up to get in, and a big iconic National Park sign on the way in. You could then also add a visor centre and gift shop close to the entrance. Incorporating the train yard will be tricky, think about if you want the train yard to be more industrial and modern, or quaint and old world-y. If the former, you might want to keep the roads going past it paved, and incorporate the National Park entrance slightly further down the road, with a dense forest separating the two areas. If the latter you could incorporate it as a sort of functioning historic element to the countryside, and have the National Park entrance right after the zoo.

Any mailboxes and playgrounds in the residential area? Spa in the mountains near the hot spring? Mini modular buildings: post office, pizza restaurant, real estate office, coffee shop. Ranger station in the forest. Another raised train station? Construction site. Supermarket. Water tower.

I think using blue glass panel elements to make a tunnel for the subway through the underwater area would be cool and perhaps use some mountain elements to make it more interesting.

That postal strike is really going to disrupt Christmas orders. I hope it doesn't take it's toll on a lot of small businesses. I'm certain that the bus strike we had last year where I live helped contribute to an art shop going out of business which I would have liked to buy from regularly.

In the winter village, the trolley can go inside a tunnel under the buildings. That way, it won't take too much place, and you would still have a trolley that goes full circuit

Man, when I would buy used bulk lots, I would print parts lists, sort each set, build each set, and then carefully breakdown each set and neatly bag up each different piece, just so that the buyer would have an amazing building experience and I’d be 100% certain that every piece was there…ITS SOOO MUCH WORK!! 😂❤

Bricksie...you don't know how much you mean to me. I am originally from edmonton alberta but immigrated to kc mo USA. So your Chanel grabbed my attention on two levels..your from my home town and you love lego! I had to sell my entire collection to try and save our home...but now we have a new house and slowly but surely I'm building again. I wish I was out going and could turn my love for lego into a business but that just is not a skill set I possess. I love and appreciate how supportive and involved your wife is and you a joy to watch. Whether your teaching me about finances, lego building, or sharing your sweet babies, I am always blessed. Thank you for all you do. I near cry when I see sets I used to own in your collection. Your living my dream. Take it and soar.

The two of you are an amazing family, sacrificing big parts of your days to provide content for all us fans. I just think that the city was fine the way it was originally before the new train station addition. It’s seems like the preservation of the countryside is causing more issues for your whole creative schedule. A small village using the of a few buildings and the new station could solve everything. Honestly who’s going to travel to see nature, without a shop or tourist center nearby. Plus a small custom built beach train station is an easy task for builders as talented as the two you.

Idea for the gravel road. You could add a few (a very few) trans clear, trans green, and the shiny silver studs because there is always some broken glass and metal/coins by the side of the road. I totally get if you don’t want figurative trash in your city. It’s just an idea.
