Loving your brainstorm at the last minute to integrate the Blacksmith's house. It's such a great set and I think would really compliment that back, raised area.

Adding a small pond feature where the azure plates of the castle are may be an easy way to incorporate a water element into the base

I love the idea of a Rennaissance Fair and was thinking it week ago. It'd be the perfect way to integrate the castles without needing time travel. Plus, so many fun stories for minifigs. And as others suggested, you could have two castles with people larping between them and others spectating. I think with the addition of the BURPs in the rocky hill for Lion Knight's Castle opens up the possibility to use a couple angled MURPs (like in the old harbor) to make a rocky outcropping in the front of the large grassy hill. It'd integrate rocky geology into the site, break up the 45* angles and green grass a bit and add some more landscaping interest, plus by introducing random dark gray rock, it would give you license to use BURPs in other parts of the raised platform when you needed quick walls or a needed more stud surface like you did under the Lion Knight's Castle. When you have more space, I think it'd be great to see you put your love of hockey into the city with a rink or even a stadium.

I love the Lion Knights Castle. It got me back into lego. I gave all my lego away a few years ago to my friend's autistic son. Every time they came over he loved them. So I gave the Lego to him. Now I'm slowly getting back into Lego Castle. I hope Lego releases more sets.

Excited to see the upper platform with the idea of going with the ren-faire / larping idea. My wife and I bought and built our first Lego set together recently and it was the Medieval Blacksmith, now we seem to be hooked and are starting the Jazz Club this weekend!

@bricksie, it might be an idea to make some sort of an overhanging cliff/hill over the edge of the raised platform that will allow you to place it dead straight. (1:57) also would be cool to see knights hanging off it with ropes and some dark cave entrance underneath

Move the camping up to the platform with the nature trees etc, that would allow fantastic viewpoints all city wide and release large valuable ground space for city, maybe the farm could be moved out of downtown, freeing real estate in town, to the edge of the suburbs as it is, with an allotment, farmers markets, fields etc etco keeps the landscaping area there for nature and covers the whole camera field on the platform with the trees and nature

Love the content man keep it up! If I can give 1 remark, I would lower the bigger hill next to the castle. This is because in real live the castle is located higher than it's Surroundings. This gives them an advantage in case of an attack. So it would make more sense in my opinion.

I think a Medieval fair is a very good idea. The Medieval fair in a open field with castle on each side, you can make two castles into a fortress. The Loin faction can have their Loin Castle and the Black Raven faction can have the fortress. The open field with the Medieval fair on it can have stalls selling food, sideshows, the blacksmith and a tavern as well as a jousting tournament or a melee tournament. If you put tree please on the platform, please put trees that are in Autumn oranges and yellows as well as different shades of green so the area not look like a wall of mono-green. Thank you loven the channel.

Hi @bricksie have you ever thought of setting up some static gopros in the Lego room to do a time lapse of changes? Maybe you could release a time lapse video of the city each year so we can visualise the Excellent work out into it

For your space between your mountains, in the back you can maybe connect them so there is a way for the minifigs to move from one castle to the other

Bricksie, what if you remove the water plates of the moat? That could easily be a steep cliff as well, you know. More landscaping Also, can you copy that (castle) house (part) with the watermill, in a mirror setup? Then fold both open and put them together. That way you have two water-wheels right behind each other. This lets the water flow behind the castle. And? This two options for you?

@Bricksie, just wanted to ask, in one of your vids I noticed inside your tub of doom there was a Acidicus. If you didn't really need it, it would be so helpful if you could send it over as I have nearly completed my Venomari tribe. If not then that's ok. Also great vid! Lighting looks great!

Having a castle above a town is in Central Europe Not uncommon. So it would really work…. Like you have it now it reminds me of Trenčín in Slovakia. Beautiful little town… and a good local brewery.

I’m going to ruin your month by telling you this- but the layout of your city is pretty close to Sydney with their theme park etc… OH MAN you need to recreate the entrance to Luna Park 🫠 Just google Luna Park Sydney & take an image of your face & let DALL-E go wild on a brick build - sorry!!!
