Great video! thanks for the comparison details! I am very convinced with 11020. however it is very costly. It costs double than 11020. Need your expert opinion: if my 4yo kid already has a 10698, which set would you recommend to be added to the collection basically to expand the collection for creativity. 11020 or 11021 or some other classic set? The Lego Classic 11019 set opens up fundamentally new horizons. It has a lot of gears and other technical functions. But I'm not sure if this set is suitable for a four year old. If the child likes cars, then Lego 11014 will be a good addition. It has a lot of different wheels. If you just want to add new interesting details, then small inexpensive Lego sets 11017, 11018, 11027, 11028 will do

@@Lenarexlego wow. Thanks for the great recommendations! Will check them out. I didn't expect such a quick response, so hats off to you for that :) So, we do want to buy one big set as well. A family member is visiting the US for less than a week, and we want to add more pieces too (legos cost a bomb where we live). Hence was considering sets with 1000 pieces or more. And maybe now I will also consider buying an additional smaller set as well.

From 2022-2023 I would choose between Lego 11021, 11022 and 11033. 11021: price, great variety of parts 11022: space theme, lots of bricks for large-scale buildings, 4 wheels 11033: fantasy theme, transparent, golden details, weapons, lots of bricks for large-scale buildings, no wheels
