That is a really cool railway layout. What I like aoout these old 9v/12v trains is the sound. It rattels a bit like the old Märklin metal tracks. ❤

Yes, especially the 12v one, the 9v is more smooth sound wise. I noticed that my cats likes that sound too 😄

Takk! Yes it's the 9v tracks, I used the L-Gauge system, the straight are pretty uhm.. straight forward but for the R40 and R56 Curves I found the instructions from them very helpful.

Ahhh, 12v power track buckling... The pain is real :D

Yep :D It's always something with the 12v system, 9v is clearly more robust.
