Celebrate green energy innovation with the LEGO® Creator Expert 10268 Vestas Wind Turbine. Developed in partnership with Vestas, this detailed, motorized LEGO model captures the elegance and graceful movement of a traditional wind turbine and features a new-for-January 2019 spruce tree, manufactured from sustainably sourced plant-based plastic. At approximately 39” (1m) high, the structure towers above a wooded hill and a house with furnished patio, mailbox, flowers and a white picket fence. Turn the nacelle left or right and switch on the included Power Functions motor to rotate the adjustable wind turbine blades and illuminate the cottage’s porch light. This collectible model has been designed to provide a challenging and rewarding building experience with a touch of nostalgia and makes a great display piece for the home or office. This set was actually first release in 2009. I can’t believe LEGO did a re-release of it, and it’s still available for a fairly reasonable $199, considering the original 2009 model is going for $500+ on ebay. These two models look very similar

The set is so expensive due to the use of the Power Functions system. However, you can get this set significantly cheaper by ordering all non-exclusive pieces off of Bricklink. Lego is still supported by this, you're just opting to get the set without Power functions, a box, instructions, or exclusive prints. Instructions can be found online, likely Brick Instructions already has them uploaded. :)

offiziell ist die alte Version ( set nr 4999 ) von 2008, diese "neue" Variante ist nur leicht modifiziert und hat 11 teile mehr
