I love it, I usually don’t like brick built animals but the giant ones work cause you can use them as minifig mounts. I have mine chasing the new Carrot Man as he skateboards away carrying the big carrot.

I feel like I'm the only one, but even as an adult the creator 3in1 is one of my favourite Lego themes. Fantastic value, well-designed and charming most of the time, lots of play value straight out of the box, and quite affordable (even the most expensive sets are not that expensive compared to the likes of City, Marvel or especially Star Wars) And here we have another winner. count me as another adult who's fav theme is 3-in-1! totally agree with ur points here, especially now that i'm paying with my own money :p the brand tax doesnt bother you as much when your a kid and your parents are the ones paying

The rabbit itself looks absolutely insane. Creator 3 in 1 has absolutely turned into a standout product line. I remember when it used to be so bland!

I bought this set specifically for the cockatoo (as an Australian). You can stick something in it's beak to show how cheeky it is stealing or destroying something.

How stable is it? Looking at the small feet but tall body, seems like standing up is the only pose it can do.

I saw this at the store the other day. I thought it was super charming, but decided to pass. Now that I'm watching you handle it and show off the articulation and such, I may go back and get it. It's a very fun little set, and the alternate builds both look pretty nice to boot.

I have read the instructions, and one thing I loved about it is how they hid necessary parts for the alternate builds in the main build. There are small turntables which are used for the parrot, hidden under the cheeks of the rabbit. Also in all the builds there is a small heart-shaped plate hidden.

The use of the shell pieces for paws is good and bad at the same time: at the same time it gives them a fluffy look, it also can look like it has multiple fingers on each paw. But overall it looks pretty cool.

I think you can fix your issue with the bunny's ears not being able to point up and forwards, by simply swapping the mixel joints, so that the socket is attatched to the head. Though the angled pieces that make up the ear would conflict. Further more it reduces the backwards range of motion. But for display (or even quick play) they are fairly easy and accessible pieces to swap.

I know its not an offical thing, but if you swap the mixel joints in the ears you can face them forwards.

If any model NEEDED to have knees, it's this one. How are you supposed to pose the rabbit like it's hopping? For this set I gotta say I like the alt builds better than the main one.

Can't you just switch the ball joint with socket joint at the base of the ears, to get the articulation you want?

It’s still unclear to me why TLG refuses to mint those mixel joints in any color other than light gray. Does anyone actually know?

it probably has to do with how strong the different plastics are with different colors. see: biomicle lime green joints :p

I've seen many lego builds where the coloring wasn't great, but this feels a little too glaring. Plus the main build is sculpted oddly with its proportions. I don't feel super inclined to get this.

I understand why they can’t do the ball joints in other colors, but couldn’t they do dual molding for it? The minifigs show that they’re able to do dual modeling very precisely, as an outsider it feels like they could potentially mold the “brick” part (or even just a thin outer shell) in color while leaving the ball and socket gray.

The different colors affect the properties of the plastic yes. A designer commented that for precise parts like balljoints that's why they remain grey.
