For the flash lovers out there that can't choose between bootleg or official flash, choose bootleg. The helmet on the official is a bendable rubber with a very chip-able paint. The plastic helmet cant chip as easily. But, you could get both and put the bootleg helmet on the official lego one

I'm looking forward to the new wave. But I've been doing some research on the figure designs and apparently they're ripping off small website designs like Christo, eclipsegrafx, and Legoboy (I hate that guy) but on looking at those figures at their original prices Christo and Legoboy charge 30$-35$ for one minifig! Most of the designs are ripped off but I feel no emotion since it does not cost that much to make one custom minifig.

Well you gotta thing, when you cannot mass produce pieces, the flash's helmet is gonna cost a lot. does it mass produce it? i dont know, but if he does then it can be cheaper like how the bootleg companies do it. Next you have to remember they use official lego pieces. how much is the head torso or legs? using the flash again, red is a VERY common colour, so the most exspensive part IS the helmet. Then, the figures are all machine printed. most likely pad printed. ahd pad printers are VERY exspensive and take up the space of half a room. so when you combine all these factors, yes a minifigure can cost a lot. As for drawing the designs for the figures, well that one is more personal, it can take hours to draw one or longer depending on the details and skill. but once a design is done, it's just reused. They have the right to be annoyed with bootleg companies because they do put time and effort into making the figures, the problem is that if u cant mass produce them, u cant make them cheap. As buyers we want cheap. So the chinese market saw a demand and took it. As for sueing? I dont see any of them wanting to sue, A: you can't sue because in the end, the character does not belong to them anyway, it belongs to DC and marvel etc. B: a single person wanting to sue a big company that you cant even find the address to? I would say good luck.

Warning: The decals on this set are quite thin and could easily be erased by rubbing w/ your fingers. I had the decals of my flash and doctor doom erased on some of the detailing as i was taking off the headpieces. I would suggest applying some acrylic top coat or floor polish first to make them last.

I'm applying Future/Pledge Wipe and Shine floor polish on all my bootlegs now as it makes em look shiny and more like the actual genuine Lego minifigs. And of course it improves and preserves details of the decals.

Icomment Lit Well Sheng Yuan made a Reverse Flash. Or you can make a custom Reverse flash by getting an extra flash cowl and making it yellow.

I just brought flash and shazam from eBay and I was wondering after I read the comments about putting floor polisher on them to make them last if that is recommended because I don't just wanna buy them and have them get ruined straight away.

even real lego can have its paint rub off, so a lot of people use different kinds of polish or clear spray paints to seal the figure

Do you know if the paint on these minifigures (particularly wave 2) is lead paint? I missed out on Deadpool, Wolverine, the no hood robin, and I REALLY like the Green Lantern from Comic Con though I couldn't get him so, yeah.

You have a fairly large collection of these, and you have a fair bit of knowledge on these bootleg figures so I thought you might know, but ok. Also, if you get lead poisoning from eating something without washing your hands after messing around with them.

I'm looking forward to buy the new sets for 5-10$ for a figure and not 30-40$ for a figure which is outrageous since I'm a broke college student who doesn't need to spend 120$ for the figures. I applaud Decool and Sheng Yuang for this since SDCC is hard to go to and spending 30$ on a figure is a challenge. Good luck to the small customizers who try and sue chinese corporations. Idiot butt hurt children don't even know the true concept of money and how hard it is to make since they don't work and use their parents money.
